6 Okay? Sweetie?

It's been almost a week since I returned home from the incident that happened to me at Malison.

My sister, Yuna, insisted I never leave the house after I explained to her what happened, and my mom also seemed anxious so I decided to follow their wishes and stayed home.

Not much has changed though, other than the fact I looked more jacked for some reason and my kanine are getting sharper.

No, yeah, I lied, there are tons of changes, and I've been noticing them with everything passing moment.

One of them being my super human movement, my speed is amazing, my strength even more amazing, my hearing are even super more amazing.

It's like every part of my body was taking a drastic change, and as much as I was confused about it, I couldn't deny the fact that I enjoyed it.

I barely feel hungry anymore, and that's not even an exaggeration, I haven't eaten for the past two days.

Even though most of all these are incredible, I still can't help but think when next I'll lose control and get bloodthirsty like I did at that woman's mansion.

I wouldn't want to attack my sister, and definitely not my mother. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if that happened.

Sigh!

"Amber Murai… I can't seem to get you out of my head."

I opened my eyes,

Seated on the couch with the light of the television reflecting on my eyes, I slowly turned my gaze to the window.

All of the curtains are closed for some reason, it's been like that since I returned, if it was my mother then she most likely did it for a reason.

"Now then!" I jerked up from the chair, making a power pose.

"It's time to help out, can't leave working to mom, she needs all the help she can get."

Just when I was about to move.

Knock knock!

I heard it, the sound of someone knocking on my front door.

I'm definitely not expecting anyone, most of my friends from work already came to check up on me, …. Delivery?

"Hello? Who's there?!" I yelled while moving closer to the door.

Deep down I was desperately praying for it to not be anyone one of my colleagues, I really don't have enough extroverted battery to cater to someone right now.

"Helllllo!!!"

Yet again, I got no response, this in itself already turned into a red flag.

As I walked, I picked up one of the metal spoons in the kitchen.

Reaching the door, I slowly pushed one of my eyes towards the peephole.

Standing just at the other side of the door, was a woman with red hair, and wearing a black dress, I couldn't see her face because of the hat she had on.

"Sorry, who are you?"

The woman raised her head and looked at the peep hole with a smile before she spoke, "Let me in sweetie".

My eyes widened in shock the moment I realized it was Amber.

I moved away, taking slow steps back, how did she know where to find me?! My head ran with questions.

"Come on, don't leave a lady standing outside like this~ that's such bad manners you know."

Now far away from the door, i asked again, with a loud voice,

"How did you find me?!!!"

"How did I find you? Hehehe~" She giggled, "I already told you pookie, you and I are inseparable".

"Ummm…. I think we are, please just leave."

"Oh? You don't need my help?" She asked.

"Help?"

"Oh dear, I guess the table hasn't been set, let me fix that."

Flooooopsh!!.

Slowly turning, I noticed the curtains to my living room suddenly snapped and was dropping to the ground.

I didn't think it was an issue, until….

The first ray of light touched my bare skin,

It felt like my body was on fire, that was because it was, I rolled on the ground, screaming as fire enveloped my form.

"Ahhhhh!!!"

I screamed in pain, rolling desperately on the ground while the flames burning my body grew and grew and grew.

Running was not an option, the fire was so painful my thought process became wonky, the only thing going through my mind was the intense feeling of my skin burning.

Before I knew it, I was calling for her.

"Amber!!! Amber!!!!" I shouted with everything I had, setting my pride to the side.

I know for a fact my body should have been nothing but ashes by now, so why? Why does my skin keep healing itself?!!!!.

"Yosh yosh, you called?"

The soothing voice echoed in my ears and the flames burning my body dispatched. The pain was gone and I no longer felt the heavy longing

to end it all.

Slowly opening my eyes, I looked up to see Amber standing in front of me with a huge umbrella covering both me and her.

"Amber?"

She tilted her head to the side and smiled, "Hmmm? Feel better?".

I looked away, breathing heavily while trying to gather my thoughts.

"Eli, Ruki, close the curtains." Amber gave her orders to some people.

The rays of light entering the room were gone, and standing at the window, were the same ladies I saw back at the mansion.

The black ponytail hair girl in the kimono, and the short blue haired maid, both of them were somehow inside my house.

Even though I want nothing more than to shout their ears off and ask why they found me.

The feeling of my skin getting burnt was still lingering on my skin, my eyes were widening and my body shivered.

"There there, I tried to warn you, you know, but you just left me and ran, that's not nice." Amber spoke, patting my head.

"But don't worry, I could never get mad at you, never ever ever, I have everything planned out, hmmm? You'll be with me forever,"

She raised my gaze to meet hers, it felt like I was staring into the pit of darkness. Her eyes were red, and there was a creepy smile on her face.

"Okay? Sweetie?".
