Just die already

Ailyn planned out everything. Each small detail. From the bridge to the exact time. Everything! She chose it carefully.

She worked so hard to make it work, then how did he survive like that! Ailyn scanned the unmoved body on the floor, and even with such turbulent water and rocks his body had not seen injury except the wound she just gave to him.

She didn't understand! How did he survive!

Even after August was swallowed by the water, she stayed at the banks for more than an hour, making sure he didn't get out or survive even though he can't swim.

Ailyn heaved out a breath, pinching the bridge of her nose. Now she needs to kill him again. What a mess!

She put her luggage to the side, and dragged his body inside and peeked outside to make sure no one saw her or his body.

Luckily their neighborhood was pretty quiet, and being a weekday, most were in their office.

Closing the door after assured that no one saw anything, Ailyn glanced at the man laying on the floor.

"Since he decided to die from my hand, I will not hesitate. Don't blame me, you choose it." She scoffed to herself.

Grabbing some duck tapes from the drawer, Ailyn put it on his mouth, hands and legs and once she made sure he couldn't escape, she dragged his body to the bathtub.

Ailyn toosed August into the empty tub, and closed with a bathtub cover, only keeping his face revealed.

Ailyn knew well, it was not enough to keep him in and she can't take anymore chances. He has to die there.

Ailyn clenched her finger and didn't try to think much. Distracting herself with a cough, her eyes scanned around to find something heavy.

Finding nothing, she went outside to get something. Ailyn didn't take long to get back with a chair from the dining table and some decorative stone. She put on the cover, and glanced at him for once before turning the tap on.

With batting another glance she put the last shed on, covering him all. Ailyn plopped down on the toilet seat, looking at the tub slowly filling with water. Her soul Was waiting for him to die.

Ailyn clearly remembers the day at the bridge. She also remembers the day they met first. She was working part-time at a cafe when he came there. He was the perfect guy, rich, handsome with humour, and she did love him but after dating him for two years, the flaws that were overlooked started to sting her.

The humour that made her fall in love with him once, became a cause for the growing hatred in her heart.

Ailyn burst out of her thoughts on hearing the struggling noise coming out of the tub. She holds onto her breath in hopes it will end soon. Her eyes turned red and brimming up with tears.

Unable to bear those noises of struggle, Ailyn curled up into a ball, her hands covering her ears.

"Just die already!... please…just die already…" She yelled, choking on her tears. She can't bear those cries of help. If he had died that day on the bridge nothing of this would have happened.

August slowly came back to his senses with the sound of the rustling water and his lower part being wet.

His eyes slowly scanned the dark familiar place, the cold water hitting his skin. The memories of the earlier night came gushing into his mind.

The image of his falling down, her wicked smile through her blonde hairs and the freezing turbulent water taking him. The struggle of him gasping for air in that gelid river and at the end being ruthlessly gobbled up by it.

The vision of being devoured by that cold water sent shivers down his throat. No, no, he can't die once again.

August tried to shout, but his voice turned to muffled noises and overshadowed by the running water. It didn't take long for him to realize his hands and legs were tied up. His mouth covered by a thick layer of duct tape

"Just die already!... please…just die already…" Just then Ailyn's voice landed in his ear.

Her sorrowful begging for his death. How could he be such a fool? After everything she had done, he was still believing that she cared?

August clenched his jaw, in an effort to break free from the crypt. His strive to get out became more willful, with the imprisoned hand and legs, August tried to kick the wooden cover away.

Ailyn heard the sounds of him knocking the shield. In fear he will get out and survive, Ailyn immediately stood up, dashing out to get more stuff.

August could hear the steps of her leaving. He tried to shout her name but it pressed down every little voice of his. The rustling water started to fill the tub, making it harder for him to breath.
