Interview with real-life August.
One of my closest friends was a major inspiration for the character arc of Augustine. Since according to the story, Augustine's birthday is on the first of August, I decided to give you guys an interview with the one who inspired it.
Author: So real-life August what do you think of many people calling Augustine simp? Do you simp anyone too?
A: *trying to act professional* Well, I try to be nice to everyone. So if that counts as simping I simp for everyone. But of course, I care most for the people I love.
Author: *whispers to themselves* isn't it an excuse to be a sim?
A: *raising his brow suspiciously* you said something.
Author: Huh? Nothing. Next question. *Nervous laughter* So what's your least favourite subject during school?
A:Ohh, hmm, a tough one, I liked everything and I still do, I remember I had dancing in 1 and 2nd grade which I hated (But I was a child heh). In high school, the most difficult subject was physics for me, not because I don't like them (I love physics), but I had a terrible teacher who didn't think anything, he only spoke about stupid personal life problems and nonsense...
Author: *focusing more on the dancing thing than the physics one* Was it dancing as in physical training? *trying to hold in the laughter.*
A: no, a separate subject for dancing as in dancing. I was in a very elite private type school in 1st and 2nd grade in Ukraine.
Author: *not jealous* Dude, you're an overachiever. Ok. Next Question! If you meet the story Augustine in real life, what would you say to him?
A: a really tough question, probably,
Don't give up on Azrael, if you make her cry, I will come again and punch you.
Author: *whispers* simp.
A: *not hearing author's comment*
Author: What would you change about August?
A: Another tough one, probably help him get over his trauma, but I would not change anything big as I am sure he has the strength to overcome his shortcomings, which is what I love to see :D If not for himself then for Azrael hehe.
Author: *trying to act calm and not aww on it.* If you had a superpower what would you choose? In this case dark or light side?
A: *after moments of deep thinking* oi! Well, it's difficult to say, I have imagined myself being a hero in many stories, half of them I am light, the other dark, more recently I have been going darker I guess.
Author: Congrats on joining my cult. *evil smirk*
A: oi, don't laugh, everyone wants to be a hero from time to time but no harem in my stories, only one waifu per story.
Author: *brewing an evil plan in her mind* How about having no waifu?
A: *completely unaware* Well, I prefer such stories too.
Author: *jolting it down on her notes* Ruin the ship.
A: *Curious but still unaware* What are you writing?
Author: Huh? Nothing. *Hides her note* Thanks for the interview. *trying to change the topic.*
A: No worries.
Author: Anything you want to say to the readers.
A: Keep reading My wife is a Grim Reaper and supporting the novel (Kinda cliche, but I can't think of something more original:)
