This Mc is all over the place, firstly he has a problem with her killing alot of people during a war, where obviously people are going to die and it's not he doesn't do despicable things all the time. He abuses his status all the time and regularly beats people up and threatens them. He acts like he has the moral high ground over her, but this is a cultivation world, probably everyone he knows has killed or ordered someone to kill for them. Yes she killed alot of people, well ordered them to be killed, but that's war, it's not like she just wantonly kills whoever she sees. Also there is no romance in this book that I've read so far, he just collects concubines like Pokémon, then they're forgotten basically. There's no depth to their characters, honestly they all feel like the same person, besides thir names there's hardly a difference. Hopefully the story gets better and there's more romance, since their is a romance tag, but so far the romance has been dry.

I just started reading so I can't say its the best so far. but I am very interested in the plot. i just hope this good story doesn't turn into a Harem. Harem plot are just there too boost interest but doesn't feed much to the character development. Since I'm just starting to get a hang of this webnovel, or it is worth all my money to continue reading. I'll wait and see

boring and bland, it's scheme after scheme and those are easily seen through by MC and his father. there were some instances that made me laugh this novel feels like has been written by a child especially if you compare this to some of the work by the first timers on WN

So far, the best recent addition to WebNovel. The system is not overshadowing the whole novel, the interpersonal relationship are mostly credible,and not all male secondary characters are idiotic, which is a relif. The MC it is not a moron (as per chapter 29) Waiting to read some more chapters

One of the best trial novels I have seen in a loonnng while. Can't wait until it gets published! // Just sat down and binged the first 39 chapters and its very promising so far. MC has a typical golden finger system that requires him to generate strong emotions - both negative and positive. So far we've only seen the MC try and produce negative ones, and the funny enough plot line that comes along with doing this. While the premise is not unique, it is refreshing that the author/translator manages to write this in a style that is comfortably believable and flows with good cadence. So far, the author has also introduced enough plot lines to capture my interests, and I'm genuinely excited to see how these develop. // As with any webnovel, there are some slight plot holes/inconsistencies, but they are not overtly glaring and something I can accept. There are also occasional errors in translation, but the meaning is conveyed effectively enough that it is understandable, or at worse, explained through the comments of other readers. // Got tired of checking to see all these copy paste/insufferable trial novels, so this book is definitely a breath of fresh air.

Better than a lot of things, though I don't enjoy the MC wearing women like hats. It isn't for me, though. The story isn't about cultivation, or a system, but instead it is all about pseudo-politics. Again, just not my cup of tea.

The name definitely does not do justice to this masterpiece, those who are hesitating because of the name let me tell you guys that you will be missing a lots and looots of good Comedy with the games of brains from time to time , the Ascension aspect when it comes to ranking up is there to balance the brain games..

Great novel so far and hope it continues. Characters are well developed and I love a scheming MC. Not a cringe-fest like the other new trial novels.

Long time since i saw anything being translated by a real person. This deserves to be chosen just for that. Novel is slightly above average. Mostly political intrigue though

Absolutely love the novel. I have been having a lot of fun reading it. Taking a look at the plot so far, you really see a lot of story development in my opinion. From who he is in the beginning to where he is now currently chapter 242 I believe. Only reason for some 4 stars is because I want more chapters lol and I'm still waiting to see how much more will be revealed in the future about this world. If it goes in the direction I hope then I'll come back and leave a better review.

Fun to read. Expected a generic op Main character novel with a n op system, but I was positively surprised With a funny, smart MC and s lot of political and tactical Thinking. Definitely Recommended to read

I find this story very amusing and a fun read. his golden finger isnt too op and hes not someone out to be a hero. he own up to his behavior and corruption.

only major flaw in this novel is that the author has put the female lead last on their priorities when it comes to character development. 83 chapters in and she could be removed from the story and you wouldn't notice. they seem to want to just pump out female distraction characters every chapter that doesn't involve the MC solving the current arcs problems. it might change further In but at this point the title female lead of the novel has very little to do with the actual plot of the story to the point its disappointing.
