Chapter 1

"Oh Shit! I'm going to be late for my first day. I can't believe I overslept on the first day of my college. Ugh!"

The young lady who cursed said, while running towards her bathroom.

Asteria Davis was living in the girls hostel of her University where she was pursuing her graduate degree in Psychology.

Asteria was a 19 year old gorgeous girl, with blue eyes that resembled the ocean and drowned the onlooker, captivating them to look even more deeply. Her shining and silky smooth golden brown hair cascaded down her back, just above her tiny waist. She was blessed with a clean fair face with a natural rosy pink blush on her cheeks. She was an effortless beauty.

Asteria was an orphan and she had lived her at the orphanage till the age of 4 before she was adopted by her foster parents; Matt and Ellen Davis, a middle-aged couple.

Her adopted parents treated her like their own and loved her with all their heart. They were not rich but they never lacked anything as well.

Matt and Ellen both worked at the same company and they were just like any other company employee.

Today was Asteria's first day at the Queens University where she was pursuing Psychology. She was always intrigued by the human mind and behaviour since she was a teenager, and was very interested in the field of Psychology.

Her thesis on Sleep Paralysis was so commendable that she got a Scholarship in one of the most leading university in the field of Psychology; Queens University in Country A.

Queens University was just a 6 hours long journey away from her parents' home, so she gladly took this great opportunity without any hesitation.

Asteria was rushing to get ready as fast as possible as she was getting late for her first class which was Abnormal Psychology and she didn't want to be late because she has a track record to follow; being the studious student she is.

Asteria wore a black denim skirt which reached just a little above her white knees making her fair legs look all the more elongated.

On top her skirt she wore white crotchet top embroidered with delicate white lace that reached up to her midriff and was the type of top where her flat tones stomach would be visible whenever she lifted her hands.

The whole black and white and black semblance accentuated her toned curvy figure making her all the more sensuous.

"Okay, let's leave before the new Professor arrives." Asteria said and left in a hurry after locking her doors.

She made a run for it in her white shoes which made her look more youthful.

Asteria was running when she suddenly felt a stare and she stopped to turn around and check it. Asteria was very alert about her surroundings and since the day she has moved into the Girls dormitory she has been feeling as if someone is staring at her.

Asteria shakes her head when she couldn't identify who and from where someone was following her movements with their eyes, so she started running again with her heads down in full speed.

She decided to take a shortcut by turning into the small alley without knowing that this little shortcut would totally change the course of her life.

"And where do you think you are going with that fine piece of ass." A rugged man in her late twenties commented while blocking Asteria's way.

He was one of those druggy who spent their time in dark alleys doing illegal business like drugs, with his gang of equally rough and nasty men.

'Just what I wanted when I'm already late for my class.' Asteria thought while smacking her head in frustration.

"Sir if you could please make way for me. I'm getting late for my class and my boyfriend will be here any minute."

Asteria tried to lie and scare them away by mentioning about her non-existing boyfriend.

'Now that should work. Ohhh.. who am I kidding?! That is such a lame excuse, even I wouldn't believe it. Dumb Asteria! You had to take a shortcut like those dumb female leads in the movies. Ugh!'

While Asteria was having a conversation of her own the group of hooligans signalled each other and one of them instantly grabbed Asteria's seemingly boneless smooth hands, and another grabbed her legs and lifted her in the air to take her to the remote abandoned factory.

"Stop! Stop it! I have already called the police from my smart-watch. You don't want to go to jail. PUT ME DOWN NOW"

Asteria was struggling with all her might and was screaming at the top of her lungs. But all her threats fell on deaf ears 'cause the group of vile men had consumed drugs so they were intoxicated.

AaaaOooooooooooooo

The intoxicated hooligans seemed to sober up a little at the howls of what seemed like a wolf. They thought they were hallucinating the fearsome howls of a wolf due their drug consumption.

But when they saw the terrified look on the beautiful girl's face they tried to pay attention to the source of the sound.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

A silver image flashed infront of their eyes with the gruesome hurling sound and before they could adjust their eyes to the image, one of the men grabbing Asteria's legs was snatched from there to the dark corner of the factory with the ear-piercing screams of the man.

"AAaaaaahh..... No... sto..."

The screams of the man reverberated in the air followed by the cruel sound of flesh tearing and bones breaking by what seemed like a savage beast.

THUMP

The left pieces of the man's body fell right in front of the dumbfounded group of men who had dropped Asteria on the floor out of fear.

Asteria's face turned ghastly pale when she saw the arm of the rugged man shredded into pieces with the teeth marks of a beast.

Out of the dark corner, the beast emerged while still growling as if provoked to bring out his gruesome beast nature by them.

The wolf was silver in colour with grey eyes, and it would've been considered as otherworldly beautiful if not for the fact that it was the size of a giant.

The hooligans completely got sober at the sight of the giant beast and ran for their lives, totally forgetting about the attractive girl's existence.

Asteria was dumfounded at the sight and she was too shocked to move when the beautiful giant wolf came closer to her with its soul piercing grey eyes looking straight at hers'.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh"

' I don't want to die before meeting my Min Ho oppa. Oppa, Saranghae! '
