PROLOGUE

In the year 2020, mysterious rifts began to appear around the world and world leaders forced a worldwide evacuation event causing the military to move humans away from the rifts.

Five years later, monsters with magical abilities emerged out of the rifts and they were too much for the humans to handle despite their early reaction.

because of this, humanity was in a dire state and we're close to extinction.

But then something happened that gave humanity an advantage.

A strange energy called Mana began to cry out of these rifts and certain humans who were exposed to the energy would awaken strange powers

These humans were called mages and with them, humanity was able to successfully push the beast back and put themselves in a stable condition.

When humanity had settled down, an expedition team was created by the humans to go and explore the rifts and bring back as many resources as possible.

They were successful and the materials they allowed humanity to progress in technology massively further allowing them a better chance against the beasts.

However, when humans had reached the top of the food chain once again after a few centuries. The were met with a new race, a race called lizard men, and peace was not an option. And so another fierce cycle of battles plagued the race once more.
