True or not, but if rumours started spreading that there was some type of connection between the two, things were bound to become difficult for him and the gang. Normal gangs might ignore it, but higher tier gangs, perhaps even the Kings might become interested in finding out if there was some truth to that, and Gary and co were definitely not ready for that.

Even worse, the Altered Hunters might also send their men to find out what led to those rumours, and start questioning Blake. Should they find out about Gary and other gang members being Werewolves, it also wouldn’t end well for them.
