Midwak's outburst broke the silence that had hung in the air, and he took a step forward, his fists clenched in anger. "This is a joke, right?" he spat out, his voice thick with disbelief. But as he closed in on Gary, something strange happened. Midwak's eyes began to glow an eerie shade of blue, and his movements became unsteady.
