MWB CHAPTER 8: A Little Alone Time With Theo

　　After talking about Theo's life, we decided that it was finally time for us to move. To do our main purpose of meeting.

　　"Should we start with buying your underwear?" Hazel teased Axel

　　I was expecting to maybe blush or at least be embarrassed. However, he agreed with her.

　　"I think that's a good idea." He nodded. "Underwear is very important."

　　Wow, he's really a different breed. I could tell that Hazel wasn't expecting his response either, as she smiled at him awkwardly.

　　And because of that, we're now in men's underwear section.

　　Theo is supposed to be the most helpful one right now, but he's literally just eyeing Axel and not saying a thing. He's my best friend, but I can't tell what he's thinking as of the moment.

　　"Oh, this one. I know this brand." Hazel said as she picked up a box of underwear. "My ex use this one, it's great!"

　　"Hmm." Axel hummed with interest as he also took a box of the same brand. "How do you know that it's great when you weren't the one who used it?"

　　"Ugh, don't ask." I groaned as I can perfectly imagine Hazel sharing her sex experience with her ex and I had enough of that already

　　Hazel laughed out loud and lightly hit my shoulder.

　　"You make it sound like it's that bad!" She was still laughing

　　"It is, for me." I deadpanned answer and she laughed even louder

　　Axel was just watching us with confusion all over.

　　"Okay, okay. I don't wanna cause you any more trouble so I ain't gonna tell him." Hazel told me as she finally stopped laughing

　　"What? But I asked?" Axel was beyond confuse at this point

　　"Her reason is not important, trust me." I simply said and he rolled his eyes. "Tsk."

　　"Tsk." He clicked his tongue too as an answer

　　"What's with the rude behavior?" Theo finally spoke, but not the how I wanted it. He was glaring straight at Axel. "As far as I know, she's your boss. You shouldn't act like that towards her."

　　"Well, what you know is wrong." Axel answered calmly. "She's not my boss. I don't work for her. I work her parents."

　　Theo's jaw clenched. He's not liking Axel's answer a single bit.

　　"Aren't we here to buy underwear?" Hazel successfully broke the heated up atmosphere. "There's more on the other side."

　　"Cool. Let's go then." Axel shrugged and went with Hazel

　　"Such a pain in the ass." Theo muttered

　　"I know right." I agreed and he looked at me

　　"Aren't you gonna follow them?"

　　"You don't like having me around?" I questioned

　　"Of course I do. You know what I mean." I could tell that he wasn't in the mood

　　"Yeah, sorry." I sighed

　　Suddenly, it's awkward between us. Damn, there's too much changes happening in my life in a day. I don't want my relationship with Theo to change too.

　　"I should be the one saying sorry, so I'm sorry." He apologized out of the blue

　　"What are you apologizing for?"

　　"Because I'm not helping much, aren't I?" He smiled sadly. "Even though Hazel is also such a pain in the ass, at least she's a big help."

　　I chuckled.

　　"Why are still not telling her off about her dating life?" I asked and he also chuckled

　　"She knows what she's doing. And besides, she's the older one. She doesn't need me to tell her off, plus I know that she won't even listen if I do tell her off."

　　"And that's why you don't even try." I said making him laugh

　　"You know me well."

　　I smiled at him and he did the same. We were silent, but it was comfortable silence. It was calming.

　　"You know, I didn't call you here for help, so you don't need to apologize at all." I said and his eyebrows raised in confusion. "Well, I knew you wouldn't be much of help."

　　"Hey!" He shouted dramatically. "I'm offended."

　　"Truth hurts, Twin." I continued to tease him and he just scoffed at me

　　"Why did you call me here then? Why didn't you just call Hazel?" He was sulking a little

　　"I guess I just wanted to see you." The moment I said that, his expression changed. "Life was getting bad, or should I say, getting worse? You get it. The universe was being mean to me and I felt the need to see my other half. I felt the need to see you."

　　His eyes softened as walked closer. He put his right hand on the back of my head wrapped the left one around my body.

　　"I hate myself." He sighed. "I was too focused on that jerk Axel and wasn't able to give you the comfort that you need."

　　I simply smiled and hugged him back.

　　"Are you gay for him or something?" I decided to tease him again

　　The teasing made him facepalm.

　　"Seriously, Thea?" He asked in disbelief

　　"What? I don't judge." I chuckled

　　"I mean, don't get me wrong. I don't have anything against gays and I support them, but I'm not one of them."

　　Him explaining himself seriously made the whole thing funnier for me.

　　"Jeez, I know!" I laughed. "I was just kidding."

　　I raised my head to look at him and his poker face made me laugh even more.

　　"Wow, it's nice to know that I make you very happy." He said with sarcasm and I just kept on laughing. "Well, what a way to ruin the moment. Good job, Thea Thindrel."

　　He let go of me and clapped with his poker face still on.

　　"All I did was to say a joke!" I defended myself, but I still couldn't hold back my laughter

　　"A very impressive joke." He nodded and clapped again. I couldn't stop laughing. "Ah, he's back. Now the moment is really ruined."

　　He was referring to Axel who just came back with Hazel.

　　"Oh, hey guys." I greeted, still laughing a bit

　　However, it seemed like I was the only who was happy. Theo is back with glaring at Axel, and Axel is just looking at him with a blank expression.

　　And Hazel? She's peaking at the guy who just passed by. Seems like he's her type.
