9 Talking About System
The lecturer spoke in class for more than an hour.
He not only criticized the current economic system, but also asked the students to try entrepreneurship in order to take control of the economy and build a better and fairer economic system.
It was all unexpected for David because he thought he would be learning theory that would basically make him a good employee.
It seemed that not all lecturers taught like that. He wondered how his older sister taught, but she might be a bit different since she taught in the science faculty.
When the lecturer exited the classroom through the lower door reserved for lecturers, David immediately stood up, looking at Jane who was also already standing up, lifting her small bag.
She walked to the center, waiting for David.
When she stood in such an elegant manner, it was difficult for others to approach her.
In front of her, it was as if there was a high wall, blocking anyone from approaching.
They have to climb that wall first if they want to approach her. In other words, to reach an elite position in this world.
David still had trouble believing that she was his girlfriend.

When going down the stairs of the university building, David and Jane started talking.
"What do you think about everything the lecturer said?" The question didn't actually come from David, but from Jane.

"I prefer to be realistic. The system is made by people who have fought their way to the top of civilization. Any complaints are meaningless unless I can get to that top position," David replied.
In fact, he doesn't really care about such things.

"What do you think?" David finally asked her back so that now she would answer.

Hearing her answer, David rolled his eyes with a faint smile.
