10 Looking for a Restaurant

Staring at the woman was a spontaneous act done by David as he met her by accident.

Everyone would definitely have such a reaction.

It's just that, due to the situation, his actions could possibly cause jealousy to the woman walking by his side.

David quickly turned his gaze to Jane, wanting to see her reaction.

To his surprise, Jane was currently holding her cell phone, scrolling through the screen while she was on social media with an account that did not have a single picture of her.

David gave her a strange look, wondering since when Jane had been playing with her phone. Didn't she realize that he had just stared at a beautiful woman intently?

Being stared at by him, Jane finally looked at him.

"What's wrong?" she asked, as if she thought something was wrong on her face because of David's gaze.

David couldn't say anything to explain.

In the end, he shook his head, pretending that nothing was wrong.

It wasn't time to go home yet, but that didn't mean the students couldn't go home. There would be no more new lessons for today, each student was welcome to do as they wished.

"Before we go to your apartment, let's have lunch at a restaurant," Jane said, directing David to her car which was still being guarded by her driver.

David didn't mind her suggestion, but looking at the woman guarding the car, he was a little uncomfortable because she was also looking at him.

Incidentally, while heading to the parking lot, he and Jane met Chu Feng again.

The latter was on the phone because he had his cell phone to his ear.

His eyes stared at David and Jane for a moment. He seemed to pretend that he did not know them, just fellow students at this university.

Jane didn't even seem to think about the man at all.

Maybe she would wait for his real action.

Not long after, they finally arrived in front of the car.

"Miss!" Jane's driver greeted Jane in a soft voice.

Jane had told David that her name was Lisa.

"Take us to a restaurant, open the doors right and left," Jane replied, giving her orders.

She nodded, but as she moved, she glanced at David. Perhaps she wondered what good David had done to be so lucky.

Unfortunately she was just a worker, so she couldn't protest.

She opened the car's rear left and right doors, revealing its interior which was very luxurious indeed.

David didn't expect that a car could be that luxurious.

"Come in!" Jane invited David to enter first through the door on the left side.

David looked at her face before nodding. He stepped into the car without looking back.

If he looked back now, he would only see stares from everyone. Not only from the university grounds, but also from the building.

Sitting in the car, David was only getting more surprised.

The seats were so soft and comfortable, perfectly fitting his body and legs.

This was a seat that even the President of a country might not be able to enjoy.

David didn't want to be seen, so he closed the door.

At the same time, Jane finally entered through the right door.

"Don't forget, put on the seat belt," she said as she sat down.

David of course used the seat belt because he was very disciplined.

He saw that Jane was also wearing a seat belt.

Lisa who got into the driver's seat looked back to make sure that both of them were ready.

After that, she started driving.

The Rolls-Royce left the university grounds, entering the Parisian highway that was always full of luxury cars.

As the car moved faster on the road, David felt more comfortable.

Seeing the outside world from inside the car practically gave him the sensation of watching over the world as a king.

David chose not to look outside for too long because he wanted to see Jane.

It just so happened that she was also looking at him.

"What do you want for lunch this time?" she asked David, seemingly asking him to decide.

What she said was enough to make Lisa glance back, as if she couldn't believe that Jane was asking a man to decide something for her.

Being asked, David naturally didn't mind answering.

"How about fried duck combined with rice, do you like it?"

"So you want to eat rice, sure, it's been a long time since I last ate rice," Jane said.

After that, she looked at Lisa and said, "find a restaurant that serves fried duck and rice."

Lisa seemed to know a lot about Paris, she nodded calmly and drove to an area full of restaurants.

Apparently there were quite a few Asian restaurants.

"Miss, restaurants from China or restaurants from Southeast Asia have the best rice, so I suggest you choose here," Lisa said when the car arrived there.

Jane looked around and asked David, "Which one do you think is the most comfortable?"

"Let's choose that restaurant!" David replied immediately, pointing to the restaurant that had a stuffed swan in front of it.

Actually, he chose without thinking much. The important thing for him was to train himself to make decisions quickly in front of others.

After all, his girlfriend was a very elite woman. He needs to be a real man to lead a woman like Jane or else he will become like a sugar mommy's pet.

As usual, Jane had no objection to David's choice.

She directly signaled Lisa to stop at the restaurant.

Although it was quite crowded, their car easily pulled into its parking lot.

Apparently one of the waiters at the restaurant opted out just to help Lisa park the car she was driving.

The boss was probably watching from inside the restaurant. Without even knowing who the car owner was, he chose to show hospitality from the start, hoping he hit an unexpected jackpot. After all, he knew that the price of that car could buy ten restaurants like his.
