Without moving any closer to the flames, Abraham got out of his soul. For now, his only goal was to achieve the connection to the soul and not form any soul weapon. The reason was simple, a soul is completed around 16 to 17 years old.
After finishing, Abraham did not get up from his position but rather pull his luggage toward him and pull something out. A look of focus and determination was present in Abraham's eyes. It felt like only he and the book existed and nothing else.
Abraham was ready for their family heritage book. He took a knife from his bag and touched the pointy end to his finger until blood was seen.
Taking a deep breath, Abraham dropped it on the book. Immediately the center of the book started to glow illuminating the entire room. It rose up and started hovering around Abraham's eyes level. The glowing became a blinding radiance as it shook uncontrollably. After a few seconds, the book opened up turning page after page. Inside, the words were written in a foreign language however Abraham was having the sensation of understanding it.
When the book reached its last page, it started to disappear, gradually turning into dust. At the same time, Abraham's body started to change. He felt weak like he was going to faint and to counter it, Abraham pump the Qi inside his body to its fullness.
After an unknown amount of time, Abraham heard a ding sound, and thinking of a system, a status screen appeared in front of him.

Abraham was impressed with his stats as they were much better than Quinn's in the novel. Comparing his hp of 60 to that of the 10 for Quinn, Abraham could only attribute such a huge gap thanks to his Qi training.
On the status screen, Abraham saw more tabs and upon reading them the screen changed.

With the simple thought of closing the screen, it disappeared and vice versa. Abraham could not stop grinning and was thanking his ancestors.
The Talen family was not so simple. In the past, very important people were part of this family. During his past life, Abraham had not only read "my vampire system" but also "my dragon system" novels. Both took place in the same universe but the dragon's storyline occurred thousands of years before. In it, the main character was Sen, the great red dragon who later became a human by the name of Ray Talen. That was the source of Abraham's second flame source, the brown-crimson dormant one.
After so many years, the dragon DNA got diluted among the Talen family but when Abraham's mother Alita got injured and absorb the dalki blood, it caused Abraham's faint dragon inheritance to activate. That was the main reason Abraham's life force as a baby was depleted and he was on a death sentence.
Later on, a vampire has fallen in love with Katie Talen, the great great,.... great-grandmother of Abraham. To live the rest of his life with his wife, the Eno vampire give up his vampire body and became a human, and took on the Talen family name. He was among the ones who made the book that Abraham has just absorbed.
Right now Abraham was still a human. Through his soul, he just came to know of his activated dragon's bloodline. As for the vampire bloodline, only through completing the quest in the system and leveling up would his body change.
Abraham stood and took a two litres water bottle which he had already prepared beforehand and started to gulp the water. As soon as he finished, the screen popped up in front of him, and a new notification message appeared.

Now it was time for the second daily quest. Abraham has been preparing himself for a long time. He opened the door to his apartment and went outside. Immediately, his body felt weakened and a new system message appeared.

It looked like the myth in his previous life was true. Sunlight was a weakness for vampires. But unlike garlic or holy artifact, in this world, only sunlight affected them.

That was the quest Abraham was waiting for and as soon it appeared, Abraham activated his second stage of Qi and coated his entire body with Qi.

"Yes." Abraham pumped his fist toward the sky. Abraham got back inside his apartment and started planning his journey. After eight hours, the system awarded Abraham another 5exp bringing the total to ten. If Abraham did both water drinking and avoiding sunlight quests daily, it would take him ten days in total to reach 100exp and to level 2. That is when Abraham's past live knowledge about the novel came into play. He knew exactly what situation could help him to level up faster.
He quickly turned on his computer and when online and started researching about vampires.
