103. A strange duo.

Four days have gone by and Abraham was still inside the tower. He was taking advantage of this free time to train his newly acquire shadow skills. It would help him become familiar with them and also level the skill up.

Leveling the shadow skill brought two advantages.

One, the skill itself got more powerful and the shadow skill would take fewer MC points to activate. The second one was after each skill level up, Abraham would receive an increase in his total MC.

There was another reason why Abraham was focused fully on the shadow training. That was because he wanted to reach a mastery in the shadow manipulation so that he would be able to unlock another skill. That skill would enable him to increase his total mutated cells.

There was the shadow eater skill that could help Abraham increase his own MC by absorbing the shadow of a normal vampire, but that was a cruel fate and Abraham intended to use it the minimum possible.

The only two times that Abraham would leave the tower were one to monitor his blooded family and the second to travel back to his brother on planet Tellus and spend so time with them.

After personally checking on his nephew Quinn inside his brother Albus's apartment, Abraham would return back to the tower to continue his training.

During the time that Abraham has been away, Quinn continued to follow Abraham's training plan vigorously until the day came when he was able to perform a full pushup without doing the modified posture. Quinn knew his own body extremely well and how fragile and weak he was before starting all these exercises. Now on seeing the visible outcome, his motivation to give his best was at its peak.

Still, when visiting his brother, at no point did Abraham talk with his brother, sister-in-law, or Quinn about his ability to transform them into vampires. If only after a few weeks of searching and Abraham has not been able to increase his Dracul family to 10, then he would talk with them.

At the same time, Abraham met with Dan and William to check on whether they were still obeying his command. Since the last time he killed one of the gang members, the two have been behaving correctly. In case there was no person to turn into a vampire to complete his 10 members, Abraham would use them.

Back on the planet, it was not just Abraham that was trying to improve his ability.

In a quiet forest, there was a gentle rustling of leaves. The sunlight peeked through the tall trees, casting dappled shadows on the ground. Suddenly, two swift shadows emerged from the foliage, darting through the underbrush with great speed. They were chasing after something, their movements swift and determined.

As they came into clearer view, it became apparent that the two shadows were Robert and his unusual partner the humanoid beast Liknorm. The two have been hunting beasts as per the command of Abraham.

Their keen eyes were locked on a peculiar creature ahead. The creature looked like a boar but unlike a normal one, the beast was three times the size. Its once-rounded snout has elongated, revealing rows of razor-sharp fangs that protrude menacingly.

It zigzagged through the forest, its every move calculated to evade its pursuers.

The chase was on. Robert and Liknorm's pursuit was relentless, the thrill of the chase evident on their faces. The forest echoed with their footfalls and the creature's frenzied snorts.

In a sudden burst of speed, Liknorm's powerful legs coiled like springs, and with a resounding leap, it propelled itself forward. Liknorm's eyes locked onto the creature's gleaming tusks, and with unwavering precision, it aimed its attack.

Mid-leap, Liknorm's transformation began. Its arms shifted and reshaped, morphing into deadly blade-like appendages that gleamed in the dappled sunlight.

The beast boar, caught off guard by this sudden evolution, attempted to react, but it was too late. Liknorm's blades sliced through the air with lethal precision, aimed directly at the boar's flank.

With a resounding impact, the blades found their mark. The alien boar let out a guttural cry, its shimmering hide no match for the razor-sharp edges.

"Tck, this damn ability" Robert let out, the sound a mixture of annoyance and frustration. Robert arrived a few seconds late at the collision.

Since Abraham has issued the command to compete and collect the most beast crystal, both he and the Liknorm beast have been doing that. During the first two days, Robert had the edge over the humanoid beast but it seemed that the Liknorm's intelligence was evolution.

Being constantly challenged by Robert's human behavior, the Liknorm had to evolve and adapt.

Yet instead of being concerned about the potential threat that the humanoid beast could become, Robert was more excited. As for the Liknorm changing side or betraying them, Robert knew that they have a safeguard. And that was Abraham, someone who has even defeated a demon tier beast.

Strangely, the two had formed a great duo. Robert did not find himself in perfect synchronization as he felt with his girlfriend Gwen but still, fighting alongside a beast was thrilling.

Now he understood how the Bree family was able to become one of the big four by having a beast on their side.

"Hold on a moment," a sudden thought struck Robert.

"Abraham already has half of the Big Four abilities. After defeating the fire demon beast, he got the fire ability which represents the SunShield family. Now he has a beast under his control and that is the Bree ability."

There were only two remaining. The lightning ability from the Graylash family and the earth ability which was mainly used by the military.

"Does Abraham already have both of them or does he intend to get them in the future?" Robert did not have an answer for that thought but there was one thing he was sure of. These feats were not impossible for Abraham.
