Kayla - "I never knew he had a crush on me.."

Kayla - "No wonder he came back after he heard i broke up with Jay.."

Kayla - "I hope he finds someone who actually appreciates him."

Zen - *Opens bedroom door*

Zen - "Kayla, Oh I didn't here you come in."

Kayla - "Oh yeah.. haha."

Zen - *Sits on bed*

Zen - "Whats up?"

Kayla - "Well, My good childhood friend confessed to me.. but I dont feel the same way.. and now hes kinda mad, But I never knew he liked me I saw him as a brother, And i thought he saw me as a sister.."

Zen - "If he dosent respect your say in this, Then you shouldn't be friends."

Kayla - "You're right.. but I can't just abandon someone I grew up with."

Zen - "Then don't."

Kayla - "Then what do I do, It's gonna be really awkward the next time we meet."

Zen - "Well my opinion.. Take a break between you and him, And maybe he will understand your say in this."

Kayla - "Yeah.. you're right."

Kayla - "So uh.. you arent mad-"

Zen - "What who said im jealous, Im not jealous!"

Kayla - "Pfft *laughs* "I didn't even say anything!"

Zen - "Haha.."

Kayla - *Sign* "Thanks by the way."

Zen - "No problem."

Kayla - "Anyway, I'm going to sleep."

(The next morning)

Kayla - *Yawns* "Ugh.. my head hurts I couldn't get to sleep because of this headache."

Kayla - "What, Isnt zen always awake.. why's he asleep now.."

Kayla - *Touches zen's forehead*

Kayla - "Oh my gosh he's forehead is burning up, I need to get him a ice pack!"

Zen - "Huh? kayla.."

Kayla - "Here, Sit up, You have a fever.. Im gonna get you a ice pack, And some medicine!"

Zen - "Oh.. alright."

Kayla - *Leaves*

Kayla - *Goes back into bedroom*

Kayla - "Okay, I'm back!"

Zen - "T-thanks.."

Kayla - "Don't talk to much, Your throat is still scratchy."

Zen - "Yes.."

Kayla - *Places Ice pack on forehead*

Kayla - "There do you feel better?"

Zen - "Yeah.. A bit cold though."

Kayla - "Sorry, And drink this water while you're taking this pill."

Zen - "Alright."

*After taking the pill*

Kayla - "You should be sleepy."

Zen - "Is this a sleeping pill?"

Kayla - "Yeah, I gave you a fever pill, And a sleeping pill. Just to make it easier for you."

Zen - "Thanks."

Kayla - "You took care of me when i was sick, So I'll take care of you...."

Zen - *Leans in & kisses*

Kayla - *Blushes*

Zen - *Blushes* "Ah.. sorry I was to impulsive!"

Kayla - *Blushes* "Its.. okay I.. I'll be in the bathroom, Call me when you need me!"

Zen - "Yes.."

Kayla - *Goes to the bathroom*

Kayla - "We're running out of food, So I'll go to the grocery store."

Kayla - *Opens bathroom door*

Kayla - "Hey, Zen I'm going to the grocery to get a few things."

Zen - "Ah, Alright."

Kayla - *Leaves house*

(With Zen)

Zen - "What did i do to deserve such a caring lover.."

*Door Bell rings*

Zen - "Coming."

Zen - *opens Door*

Zen - "Yeah?"

??? - *Shoots*

Zen - *Shocked* (His mind) "CRAP I cant fight back now!"

??? - "You stole my kayla.. you'll PAY!"

Zen - ". . ."

*20 minutes later*

Kayla - "Zen im hom-"

Kayla - "ZEN!"

Zen - "Oh.. Kayla.."

Kayla - "ZEN, WHAT HAPPENED PLEASE WHAT HAPPENED?!"

Zen - "Don't worry.. I'm a Vampire i wont die so easily... Just take me to bed and call a doctor for vampires."

Kayla - "OF COURSE!"

*20 minutes & in bedroom*

Kayla - "H-how did this happen.. *Shades a tear*

Kayla - "Whoever did this.. I'll kill whoever did this."

Zen - *Wakes up*

Zen - "Kayla?"

Kayla - *Holds zen's hand*

Kayla - "ZEN, You are alright! Do I need to call the doctor again?!"

Zen - "Oh. no I'm fine."

Zen - *Tries to get up*

Zen - "Ahh.."

Kayla - "Stop! the doctor said not to move or anything! it could re-open your wound!"

Zen - *Lays back down*

Zen - "Alright.."

Kayla - "What happened?!"

Zen - "It started when I heard the bell ring.. and i got up to answer it.. and then once I opened the door.. "

Kayla - "Did you see who did it."

Zen - "They were smart enough to cover there face.. but they did say something after shooting me.."

Kayla - "What did they say?!"

Zen - "They said.. 'you stole my kayla.. and then you'll pay'

Zen - "It seemed like a dude by the way the body was built.."

Kayla - ". . . I know who it is."

Zen - "Huh? Kayla where are you going?"

Kayla - "I'll be back..."
