Chapter 19

Finn's P.O.V

Cedric, Dominic, are sitting at the table playing a game of poker when I walk in the door.

"Why the long face?" Dominic asks me, looking up and over his cards.

"Arjun won."

"What are you talking about?" This time he completely put his cards on the table upside down, of course.

"She kissed him and I left her there."

Even Cedric's mouth drops open.

"Dude, you gave him every opportunity to have the upper hand." I hear the annoyance in Dominic's voice, because this is very much his problem, as it was mine. For him, he's losing a paid member of the clan, and I was losing the person I cared about.

"I know I just felt so angry."

"Do you think it's going to get better by giving her more time with him?"

I feel the burning in my throat. I'm not thirsty, but I'm very aggravated, which is probably setting off my vampire, making me seem like I need to drink.

"I'll meet up with her at the band rehearsal."

"You're going to have to handle the werewolf."

"Dominic, you think that's going to be easy? She is his bloody mate, and I can almost guarantee you that he is protective over her probably more than me. His feelings are stronger than any of ours combined."

He nods. "Then eliminate him."

I find myself walking towards the arena where Rosabella has band practice. I have no clue if she even wants to communicate with me after I just left her there. Why would she even want to talk to me again? It was a pretty shitty thing to do. Yes, I am annoyed that she feels some type of way about the werewolf, but I probably could have handled it differently. Way definitely.

My ears hear singing, and like always, she sounds like an Angel. My nose gets the smell of wolf, and I feel myself getting mad. Would she honestly bring him here? They have gotten that close for him to be at one of her band rehearsals?
