33 The Lust

Seraphina was seated behind her desk, going through the pile of paperwork before her. She never expected Lucian not to even look towards the work while she wasn't at work. "Ugh! I hate you." She gritted her teeth as she slid down, her face into the table.

His company wasn't the easiest to navigate through due to the complexities in the way he dealt with issues. This made her wonder if it was normal or it was just his vampire thinking.

Seraphina stood from her seat, heading towards the sofa in front of the floor to ceiling window overlooking the hills nearby and the forest by the house.

It was late in the evening so the sight was like a beautiful painting on a canvas. Sinking into the sofa, she still had some papers in her hand which she wa sbist reading through.

A slight knock was heard on her door and she just let out a tired hum before the door was pushed open and she could see a large shadow walking into her room, making her think just one person.
