1 So I've Been Summoned to Another World

Ughhhhh, the whole world feels like its spinning. Looking around, the room I'm in isn't anything like what I've seen before. The floors are made of cut stone, with tall, stained glass windows embedded in looming walls, connecting to form an arched roof.

After regaining my immediate bearings, I've noticed something else, I'm not alone in the room, and I'm also not clothed. There is someone in a robe in front of me, a handful of other naked people around me, and a few people around the edge of the room. Looking closer, it looks like the people around the edge are standing just outside of some large circular markings on the floor. What is this, some kind of cult? Where exactly am I? Was I kidnapped?

A few moments pass, and the robed person makes a hand gesture towards one of the people standing outside the circle, after which they turn around and grab a few sets of clothes, and bring them over to us in the circle. The clothes aren't exactly what I'd call fashionable... or nice, but I'm just thankful that I haven't been stabbed in the chest at this point, so I accept the clothes that they're holding out. The robed figure gestures to us to put them on, so I do. Once all of us do, the person closest to the door heads out of the room. A few moments pass, and a beautiful woman enters.

"Oh Heroes! It appears the Summoning ritual was successful! A Demon Lord has appeared, and we need your help to deal with this threat. I am Princess Alistra of the Kingdom of Godren. I'm sure you all must have many questions. For now you'll be escorted to some rooms we've prepared for you here in the palace. Tomorrow we'll have a large meeting so you can ask questions."

After Princess Alistra finishes this she turns around and leaves the room, and a handful of soldiers enter.

Ok. That's a lot to take in. I look around the room, and there are a few different reactions. Some people have turned pale, some look panicked, and a few are sitting down with their heads in their hands. No one else seems to be looking around at everyone like myself. Looking closely at everyone, I don't recognize a single person here. Yup, this is weird alright. Its about a 50/50 split of men and women, all seeming in their early 20's, like myself.

A minute later a soldier approaches each of us, and begins guiding us to the prepared rooms. Which basically just consist of a bed, with a single pillow and a blanket, and a window. I'm hoping they aren't going to tell us these are our permanent rooms, because I think I'd rather kill myself than live in a prison cell. After I enter the room, the soldier closes the door behind me, and I hear it it lock. Shortly after, heavy fatigue sets over me, and it takes what little energy I have to lay in the bed, and pull the blanket over me.
