Luke shot towards the whale with his full might, while he was being flung towards the whale he made his head into a spike with water qi and used more than normal so that he could penetrate the whale, instead of just gaining brain damage.

The whale wasn't expecting him to use the technique he gave him as an attack, and it also seemed like Luke put his own spin on the technique. Although it was powerful the whale wasn't scared, what could a dragon who wasn't even reached the advanced spirit realm do to him?

The whale made a mistake that Luke learned long ago, never underestimate someone just because of their cultivation realm.

When the whale let his guard down Luke was sure he would be able to get him back for what he did to Luke and after barely a second passed, Luke hit the whale right on his side, and he started to penetrate the whale's skin and flesh.

The whale was very surprised and immediately activated his fight or flight mode, he smacked Luke with his tentacle so fast that the swing broke the sound barrier and made a sonic boom. Thankfully Luke had a force field around him at all times in case of something like that happening, but the result still wasn't good. His force field shattered after absorbing a bit of the force, and once the tentacle hit Luke he was sent flying into the cave wall and he busted through the walls, and after a couple of seconds of still breaking the hard stone, he stopped moving. Every single bone in his body had broken, his insides were injured and he was flopping around like he had no bones, Luke felt all of the pain. The whale had given him some medicine so he wouldn't pass out from pain unless he commanded it so.

After gaining his senses back the whale rushed over to Luke and looked at his crushed body, 'Oh shit, did I break his dantien?' The whale was worried he broke Luke's dantien because if he did then he would lose all of his cultivation base and not be able to cultivate anymore, but when he checked Luke's body he realized that the dantien was still there, not only that, but it looked like the attack didn't damage it at all, 'Looks like I worried over nothing he is still able to cultivate, I better go ahead and heal him so we can fight some more.'

Luke woke up with a cold sweat again, when he thought about what happened before he almost threw up, "You're awake? Good, I'm sure you know what happened last time. You did well but not well enough, you didn't prepare enough to make sure you could defend against my counter-attack so make sure you are this time. Alright, 3, 2, 1, GOOOO!"

Luke was a bit shaken up from the way he lost last time but it didn't stop him from fighting back when the whale sent a tentacle. He decided to attack the tentacles instead of fighting the main body, and he had a good idea to make use of the whale's strength.

When he made the extra strong force field around him, instead of the normal one he put long sharp water spikes around it. When the whale was about to hit the force field he realized something was wrong but it was too late at that point, he hit the spike on the force field, and normally it wouldn't go through him, but he was the one putting the force into the hit so the spike went right threw the spike and the whale took it back right after.

"It seems like you truly are growing fast, guess I'll have to step up a bit and get a bit more aggressive."

What Luke didn't notice is that the whale was only using two of its nine tentacles the whole time he was fighting and he wasn't even using qi, just his natural strength. Although the whale thought about using qi, he shot the idea down soon after because if he truly used his qi then the dragon might actually die, so instead he started using three tentacles instead of two.

Although just a change of one might seem a bit insignificant it isn't, because when Luke made a spike on his force field he had to use about 10 qi and more tentacles attacking him meant that his qi would be spent faster.

'Damn, the situation is getting worse, I only have about 50 qi points left and if I stop making the spikes then he will just thrash me with his tentacles which will be even worse, what to do.'

Suddenly Luke figured something out, 'I'm so dumb! Why have I been so short-sighted, who said that I can only use one element when I fight? I can also use the earth element!'

After having a realization Luke made a spike right under the whale and although he hasn't used the right technique when using elements on the earth qi element before, he still had done it before so although it was a bit ridged it still worked.

All of a sudden the whale felt qi moving underneath him and then remembered that the water qi element wasn't the only element in Luke's arsenal. He quickly tried to move out of the way but one of the cons about being a whale was shown at that moment, he was giant!

When the whale tried to move out of the way, he wasn't able to in time and got hit beneath him, although the spike was far from strong enough to penetrate him completely, it still went a bit into him, this was when the whale realized the true advantage to being able to use more than one element.
