THE BIRTH OF THE TWINS

Mr basil was seen driving recklessly towards the popular saint christopher hospitals. One can sense that something is going on, he parked carefully and rushed inside the hospital. The sound of his shoes was giving a melodious sound. He walked up to a short nurse that was busy with the files on her front and greeted her while palpaiting.

How can I help you sir? she asked while arranging the files properly. hmmm! he started, am mr basil the husband to the pregnant woman who was just brought in few minutes ago.

OK! the nurse shouted, congratulations she said and stretched out her hand for a hand shake. Mr basil grabbed it without knowing what the nurse was saying, she gave birth to bouncing twins, she finally said.

owww! he said happily, thanks nurse very much he added.

Mr basil left that morning to work and his wife was healthy and sound, I mean no labour sign or anything. he was sitting on his office chair when his phone ranged, he picked it up and it was his neighbour that was calling to tell him that his wife is on labour and she is taking her to the hospital. he left immediately and was seen driving recklessly, overtaking cars right and left. He walked directly to the ward where the nurse told him, he opened the ward and there is his loving wife and kids.

His joy knew no bounds, he rushed to his wife first and hug her tightly and then looked at the babied cot. He saw his two princesses and smiled. Thank you so much janet because of you am now a DADDY! he shouted. One of the twins started crying. hey daddy is here you better stop crying baby mr basil said. She has been crying since she was given birth to janet said. Really? Mr basil said, she might develop headache he concluded. She didn't allow her sister come before her, when her sister brought her hand first the nurse tied a tiny piece of cloth on her finger but after that she took her hand in again and this cry cry came forth janet explained. Wow! that was a tough battle mr basil said and took the finger of the gentle and quiet baby who was busy sleeping, she looks like me he said and laughed. No! janet disagree, she looks like me. No! she look like us mr basil said and they laughed together.
