1 Chapter 1

Trence's POV.

My name is Terence "Trence" Jones. I'm 17 years old and I'm attending Bacsford University.

Being cliche, I'm one of the so-called 'Prince' of the school. Jeez, right?

But I can't really blame them. I've got perfect, standard pretty boy features that any guy would die for. I have fans all over the school and even some out of the school; and they all call me 'Prince Trence'.

Don't get me wrong, I'm thankful that they think I'm handsome and everything, but going through it for most of my life...it gets a bit boring getting called a "prince" all the time.

I was enjoying a good nap in our classroom when my best friend, Jack, called me. "Trence!!"

"What?" I groaned.

"Aren't you going to attend the flag ceremony?"

I groaned again, making some of the girls on my back gush. I rolled my eyes. "No, I am not. So please, go away. I'm trying to sleep."

I heard the girls giggle. "I'm also not going to the flag ceremony!!" One of them squealed.

My eyes widened.

"You don't want them to go to detention, right?" Jack said. "So please, your highness, won't you attend the flag ceremony with me?" He sarcastically added.

I sighed. Angrily, I stomped my feet as I stood up and shouted, "Fine!"

The girls squealed in delight. "Prince Trence saved us!!" They exclaimed.

What's wrong with their heads? Well, I could only wonder.

"Jack, remind me to leave this school, okay?" I mumbled.

----

After the flag ceremony, we went straight back to our classrooms. On my way, a girl caught my attention.

She was tiny, that was my first thought until I saw her big, round eyes, her long lashes, and her small, pink lips. Her hair was long and seemingly silky and well taken care of. Her uniform was prim and properly done, her stockings hinted that she was on the conservative side. The only thoughts I had left were; 'she's like a doll.'

But what really surprised me was the fact that she just walked past me, her face bearing no emotion whatsoever.

She didn't care about me at all.

I smiled, finally finding a practical girl.

"Uh, why are you smiling creepily to yourself?" Jack said, disgusted.

"Go away."

----

Back in the classroom, everything was the same.

"Hi, Prince Trence." One of my female classmates greeted me. Not wanting to be rude, I smiled politely.

Then the girl fainted.

I got alarmed but then other girls pulled her out. "Phew." I huffed.

Our teacher, Ms. Cadence, finally arrived in our classroom.

"Good morning, class!" She greeted cheerfully. I noticed someone slightly behind her back. My eyes widened and I sat up straight. 'It's the doll girl...' I thought.

"Good morning, Ms. Cadence." My classmates greeted her back. I wasn't able to greet her because of my brimming interest in the transferee.

"As you all see, I'm not alone," Sensei said.

"Yeah, you're with a small fairy!" My classic mean classmate said, which her minions laughed at in unison.

Pissed because of her tolling the introduction, I glared at her, which caused her to be alerted.

"Shut it, Ms. Janes," Ms. Cadence said and sighed, obviously accustomed to her students' usual BS. "Anyway, I'm with our new student, Taileen Anderson."

'She really is tiny'. I thought as I stared at her. 'Ms. Cadence is just 5'2 and she's still shorter.'

"Taileen, please introduce yourself," Ms. Cadence said while smiling sweetly. She groaned.

'Girls are capable of groaning?' I thought with an amused grin.

Anderson scratched her head and sighed, seeming to be pissed.

"I'm you-already-know, from somewhere-in-the-world, my age is really-not-important, and my number is none-of-your-business." She smiled in an obviously fake manner and immediately changed to an emotionless face.

I chuckled. 'She's something.'

"Um, alright, thank you Taileen. Please take the empty seat." Ms. Cadence said with a chuckle.

Taileen sat on the front, which made me just a TINY bit disappointed. I sighed, but my smile didn't fade. I noticed that some girls were taking out their phones and snapping pictures of me, so I looked out the window since my seat was right beside it.

Ms. Cadence was babbling about math stuff that she explained to be tough to understand. 'Well, since it is, then I wouldn't get it even if I listen or not.' I thought with a cheeky grin.

With that thought, I napped on my table.
