I'm all alone

Ivy pov

(My name is Ivy and I was alone ever since I was born. I never knew what it was like to have a mothers love much less a fathers love. I never knew the meaning of love or the meaning of family. The only meaning I ever really knew was loneliness and despair. My parents never even acknowledged me; the maids never even looked at me. They only looked at the youngest and middle child. They forgot to feed me and I was starving for days on end. I always had to make my own food. I also had to make my own money as well as teach myself how to read, write, and defend myself against people who wanted to harm me. So I never had time for friends or a boyfriend, mainly because I had no time at all and the only time I had was at night. I only ever had 2 hours of sleep because I made myself work. I had to become successful in life since I'm the head of the family. I wanted to go to high school to see what it was like, but I had to save money and so I set up a savings account under a false name since no one knew I was in line to become head. Also, since I'm the head of the family I had to be prim and proper so I couldn't talk back to my father or mother. One day they requested me to eat dinner with them and I was in shock because they finally knew I existed. So I immediately got dressed and went to the dinning hall.)

Mom: oh hello, come and join us.

(My mother said in a formal tone, I looked around and saw there was a chair at the end of the table: the youngest (Luke) and middle (Levi) sibling, mother, and father were at one end. I had to sit at the other, so I went to my chair and of course I had to act properly. So I asked the butler to pull out the chair for me and I sat down. for some reason when i sat down, everyone looked at me in shock.)

Ivy: Is something wrong?

(I said in a formal tone)

mom: oh we were just surprised that you knew how to act formal.

father: SHUT UP!!! your being annoying Natalie!!!!!

mom: s-s-sorry sir.

Luke: I never knew we had a sister, Father.

father: yes you did Luke and she is the head of this family.

Levi: where is she staying at father?

father: she is on the first floor near the meeting room and she has her own study. She has work she needs to do so don't disturb her Levi.

Levi: yes father.

father: Now Ivy, how is your school work coming along?

Ivy: what do you mean father? I had to teach myself.

father: what do you mean you had to teach yourself? Did you not get the money I sent you?

Ivy: What money? I had to find a job in order to make money. You never gave me anything.

father: MAID WHERE'S MY DAUGHTER'S MONEY AT!?!?

the maid: master you never gave her any money. No one even knew you had a daughter.

father: what??? okay, set her up a bank account and enroll her into school.

the maid: As you wish, master.

father: Ivy, how much sleep do you get??

Ivy: 2 hours sir.
