Dilemma

My life was going smoothly and I even started to save up money but happy days never last as a new virus started and a new law was set up that some jobs were stopped, only one person can go out per family and many more. Fortunately, I already saved up money to last for a month and will be a health volunteer (people who help at a pandemic site) starting tomorrow.

In the middle of night, a figure was hitting on the door shouting nonsense saying that he is my father and wants the house back. Me and my wife got scared so we called the police, fortunately the police arrived on time before the man could break the door.

Early in the morning, I gone to work after eating breakfast made by my wife, I gone to work. My volunteer work will be about cleaning the dishes after the patients eat and cleaning but out of the blue my phone rang so my colleague told, I cleaned and sanitized my hands.

I picked up the phone and saw it was my wife's, I answered hearing the voice of the man from last night. A cold sweat ran down my spine as the man threatened me that he will kill my wife if I don't give him the house.
