4 Chaper 4: Not a very happy childhood

"Ryoko, Ryoko get ready!"

"Okay mum!"

Little Ryoko woke up from bed, brushed her teeth and dressed up.

That was a really important day, it was her first ball!

A noble kid from a well- known family had his birthday and he was the same age as Ryoko.

Ryoko didn't have the best friendship with him since he was her big brother's best friend.

Still Ryoko was really excited because it was her moment to shine and to express her skills as a noble lady.

"Honey are you ready?"

"Yes mum I'm ready! Do you like my new dress?"

Ryoko turned around and showed mum her new dress. It was a pink one and suited her really well.

"The dress fits you perfectly dear but one thing is missing.." said her mum

" What?"

"Your necklace, you can't go out without it" said her mum and gave her the necklace

" But mum please, this necklase doesn't match with the outfit it'll look horrible!" said Ryoko sad

"Honey I know but it is for your own safety. I guess you know what happened last time you didn't put it.." said her mum

"Yeah you're right but I didn't want to..." said Ryoko sad

" I know honey but still you must be careful ok?" said her mum and hugged her

Ryoko took her hand and they went to living room. Ryoko's dad was reading a newspaper while her older brother was playing with some toys.

Both of them were dressed with expensive suits and Ryoko couldn't handle her laugh while she was looking at her brother.

He looked so serious but in her eyes he seemed like a big baby.

"My boys look great! Are we ready to go now?"

"What are you saying you look prettier than ever my darling!" said Ryoko's dad and hugged her mother.

Ryoko's mum was a really gorgeous lady. Ryoko had many features from her to such as: black hair, purple eyes, fair skin ect.

If you would ask someone who was the prettiest lady in Astaroth empire they would definitely say Ryoko's mum name.

Everyone in Hinode family had their charm but Ryoko's mum charm was very special.

"Dad how do I look? Am I as pretty as mum?" asked Ryoko her father

"Yeah you look really good..."said her father and left

That moment broke Ryoko's heart. Lately her father was so cold to her because she had made some "mistakes".

It was becoming harder for her to control her powers but still they weren't really sure in what clan Ryoko belonged.

Her father was a wizard and her mum was a angel. Her brother was still young to show his powers but Ryoko...

Ryoko was younger than her brother but was becoming harder for her to control her powers.

Tears from her eyes dropped and she couldn't control them. She knew shu must control her emotions but still it wasn't a nice thing to be ignored by your own father several times.

"Ryoko, are you crying? What have I told you always control your emotions or bad things can happen anytime! Now cheer up and come with me it's time to go!"

Her mum grabbed her hand and they entered the horse- drawn-carriage.

After some minutes they arrived at the destination.

" Wow here are so many people" thought ryoko nervous.

She was a introvert kid and it was her first time going in a ball.

Hinode family entered in the ballroom and everybody came to them.

" I think you should be friends with other kids here is a boring place for you. Go now!" said Ryoko's mum to her and her brother

Ryoko started following her brother until he stopped. He turned back at her and saw her furious.

" Don't you dare to follow me! You always destroy my chances to make new friends because of your stupid powers!" said Haruto to Ryoko

"But ... mum told us to stay together..."

"I don't care what you are going to do just don't stay near me! Go away, now!" said Haruto angry

" Brother please don't leave me alone im scared what if..."

"You know what, father was right. You are a mistake you should have never been part of this family, you're just a weirdo." said Haruto and leaved Ryoko alone in the hall.

She wanted to cry but it wasn't the best place to express her feeling so she was looking for a quite place.

Ryoko looked from the window and saw the garden.

She jumped from the window and fell on a tree. Calmly she climbed from the tree and fell on the ground.

" I guess its just me know" thought Ryoko and started to explore the garden.

While she was playing with a worm she heard some happy laughs.

" Where are these laughs coming from?" thought Ryoko curious and started to follow laughs noise.

Suddenly she stopped walking because she saw something that broke her heart.

It was her brother laughing with some other kids. They were eating some cake and talking with each other.

Ryoko came closer to hear what they were talking.

"Why isn't you sister with you?" asked a girl Haruto

" She's a introvert and wants to stay alone all time, boring right? Plus she would only say boring stuff if she was here" said Hatuto

" Yes you're right she looks so weird ew"

"She never speaks and she looks so boring ugh"

"By the way she doesn't seem like a noble like us. If I saw her for the first time i would though she was a poor village girl"

" Excpecially her necklace is really ugly she must have horrible taste"

All kids started laughing with their mean comments, even Haruto to...

Ryoko showed up angry and started to scream to them.

"What have I done to you Haruto WHAT? IF I HAVE MY POWERS AND YOU DONT HAVE YOURS MAYBE IT ISN'T MY FAULT!" said Ryoko furious

" I...I Ryoko wait !" said Haruto scared

Ryoko runed away crying until she arrived at the garden.

She fell on the ground and started to cry more than ever.

Suddenly she released dhe still had her necklace so she took it and broke it into many pieces furious.

"You stupid necklace! I hate you, father, Haruto, those brat and my powers! I HATE EVERYTHING!" said Ryoko mad while she tried to hold her tears.

"Are you sure you hate everyone?"

Ryoko turned back scared. She heard a voice but none was there it was just her crying.

" I'm not a bad person I can teach you how to use your powers" said misterious voice

"Who , who are you? Show up right now!"said Ryoko panicked

"Don't worry I won't do anything bad to you, I'm your friend" said misterious voice

"My ,my friend? Who are you please show up!" begged Ryoko to the misterious voice

"Here am I right here"

Ryoko turned back and saw a little boy as her age. They really looked like twins.

It was her first time seeing him but something about him seemed to her really familiar..

"Who are you?" asked Ryoko

"I'm you but you can call me Toshiba'' said boy and smiled at Ryoko

Maybe now she wasn't alone anymore or that was what she thought...

"And that's the moment where I met my demon, Toshiba" said Ryoko to Yuto and Lorelai
