Even though I tried to sense my mother's aura, it was useless. I could not sense her third degree bestial aura, so I gave up and moved my field of vision towards the 2 new women I will be living with for a while.

They were patiently waiting for me on some rocks near my position.

With a silent sigh I tried to remind myself that this was not a final goodbye, it was just a breakthrough and maybe in 5 months I would see her again, this lifted my mood and I walked towards the mother and daughter pair.

"Better? Are you okay?"

Bianca was not my mother, but her tone of voice contained the same sweetness and concern as my mother.

He seemed a little worried about me and that cheered up my mood even more, knowing that someone besides my mother cares about me makes me happy.

I approached her and made a mental connection with her.

'Yes... a little better after hearing your voice.'

The moment I said that she started to smile, apparently she liked my comment about her.

'But... Can we go back?'

'I want to rest...'

Bianca understood what I meant and answered me: 'Ok, we'll come back'.

When I distance myself from her small hands embraced me and a message appeared in my mind.

'Calm down... don't be sad, I will take care of you don't worry'.

That voice was Alice's, I found it a bit funny that she tells me that.

I'm stronger than her...

But, I didn't dislike her ignorance, it touched my heart a little bit to know that someone else would care about me.

'Thank you'- I answered kindly.

I get up from the ground without saying a word and walk next to her mother without saying a word, with me in her arms.

As we left the barrier I could see that there were 2 men dressed in black waiting in the trees. Every time mother and daughter visited us I was always curious about who these people were that accompanied them.

Apparently today I would know who these 2 people were.

"Ma'am it's late we have to go back."

The one who spoke was the older man, unlike the other man this one did not have his face covered. He was an older middle aged man and from his facial features I could tell he was attractive.

But the other man was smaller in height and showing only his eyes, but no mouth or nose or other facial features.

"I know, let's go back Sebastian."

The man nodded with a bow and the moment his gaze landed on Alice I could see he was surprised as he looked down at me in his arms.

"M-Madam, isn't that wolf...?"

Alice's mother sketched a smile and said, "Yes, it is as you think."

The man named Sebastian looked at Alice and said cheerfully, "Congratulations Miss Alice."

He was not the only one who said that, the quiet man also spoke: "Congratulations Miss Alice".

The 2 bowed their heads a little towards Alice, this action pleased Alice and raised her pride even more.

This did not go unnoticed from me as I noticed her chest puffed out a little.

"Thank you."

Alice's mother indicated to them that we take no more time in congratulations and go back.

On the way Alice told me that Sebastian is her bodyguard and personal butler, well I guessed it by the way he was walking.

Every step was elegant giving the feeling of being in front of a real high class butler. I know this from attending the elegant parties where my parents were invited for their achievements in the field of science.

And the other man's name is Mark being their personal bodyguard, he has an escape ability that makes him as fast as a Tier 4 beast.

Having said that it didn't take us long to reach the entrance of the city, and when the guards noticed my presence they asked if I was a hired beast or baggage beast.

"Hired beast."

The guards didn't ask any more questions and let us pass into the city without further ado.

'Ali... What are baggage beasts?'

Alice replied mentally as she walked beside her mother.

'Well... unlike hired beasts, they are beasts that merchants use to transport their goods. These beasts are civilized and although they are big they are just that, they have no special abilities nor are they aggressive towards people. But they are strong and all traders use these beasts to carry their heavy goods.

These beasts do not make contract with us humans, but they are not dangerous.'

And so on until we arrived at a carriage waiting for us near the entrance to the city.

All this time Alice's mother had a cold look on her face and her tone of voice changed to a neutral one unlike how she spoke to me and Alice.

In the blink of an eye the carriage stopped at the mansion where my new home would be, Alice, Bianca and I got out of the carriage.

Mark and Sebastian, as servants, could not ride in the same carriage as us so they rode close to us until we reached the mansion.

They got off the horse and followed behind us.

"Welcome Miss and Madam."

The guard at the entrance bowed and let us into the mansion.

Inside the mansion had not changed, it was the same shape as when I had snuck away from my mother.

But the difference was that this time we entered the front door, there were servants on our way to Alice's room and each of them bowed their heads as she passed.

Bianca had separated from us as she was going to inform her husband about me.

All the female servants were mesmerized the moment they saw my tender appearance and some were bolder asking if they could touch me, but luckily Alice denied any touching towards me.

To which they sighed in disappointment and left our position.

On reaching her room the first thing I noticed was that nothing moved from its position, apparently the maids did not come to tidy Alice's room, but this did not stop me from getting out of my friend's arms and lying down on her fluffy bed.

I rejoiced at the feel of a normal bed since I came into this world, every day I slept on a stone next to my mother, but it was not as comfortable as the bed I am currently lying on.

Alice laughed at my actions and I noticed she was taking off her clothes to change into pajamas hanging in her wardrobe I turned my head and pretended to be asleep.

Her undeveloped body did not appeal to me sexually, but it was uncomfortable watching her change knowing that I was actually a man over the age of 16.

And even if I was pretending in the end it became real as I only felt a warm hug on my back and after that my eyes closed and I was immersed in the world of dreams.
