the sect ranking only had 55 people remaining, there were only going to be 4 rounds today. after which everyone who was defeated was going to have a chance to challenge someone of a rank higher than them.

Sora went on to win all 2 two remaining matches. the 4th was going to be a match to decide the ranking of those in the top 10. with a bit over 20 people remaining, Sora of course won all the matches and gained the right to be one of the 10 to go to the sect gathering.

but the 4th round was about ranking those in the 10, and picking who was the strongest among them. without Han Yan, the person with the highest cultivation was still a half-step silver rank expert, the guild master of the lightning emperor guild. Han Yan rival.

Sora went from early level 5 silver rank strength to the peak of level 7 silver rank power. his strength almost grew by 2 levels. and 3 stages. this was a boost of people was equal to a 10 times increase in not just power, but all of Sora's capabilities, only his agility dropped.

Sora roared at the sky as he began rampaging around the forest, his thought projection disappeared long ago. Sora was not in control and only the instances of a huge monkey were in control. the ape opened its mouth as beams of energy shot out, killing countless demonic beast which was running for their lives,

but after more than 30 minutes passed. the huge monkey stopped in its rampage and its red eyes slowly disappeared, revealing Sora's eyes. Sora looked at the destroyed forest around him, before sitting down and created through projections which went on to enter a calm state of calm and cultivate the wrathful technique

these through projection were all in the form of apes as well, and it was much harder to enter a calm state of mind, but they still were able to do it for about a few minutes and cultivate. the demonic beast all around them didn't dare to come near and only watched from afar in horror.

by morning Sora lost the ape form, but he gained the ability to create a white orb that will allow him to transform into an ape. so he did just that, but he lost control of that form when he entered it, but he remained in control in just 5 minutes and began cultivation once more with his thought projection.

3 days later, Sora no longer lost control of the ape transformation and even went around looking for a demonic beast to fight and train to master this form.

another 2 weeks later, Sora went on to condense that form into his human form. Sora went on to grow 10 times stronger in his normal form. when he enters this state, Sora's hair stood straight up, the best part about this form was that everything he had improved by 10 times, even his speed.

this allowed Sora to be able to even match a level 8 silver rank expert by just using the monkey king cultivation art. but there was more to this. if Sora could master this form, then the power it will give will improve by up to 3 times. allowing this form to boost Sora's power by 30 times

but there were some drawbacks to this form. it used up a lot of energy, Sora could at most stay within this form for 10 minutes before all his Qi is sucked dry. but if he could master this form, then he would no longer waste energy, and being in this form will be like being in base form.

Sora sighed deeply upon getting the hang of this form, the next thing to master was going to be his solar energy. So, for the first time, Sora tried flying without a flying sword. Sora felt the 7 years of stored energy within his cells coming to life as he suddenly floated off the ground

Sora struggled to keep his balance, but he flipped over hitting his head on the ground. Sora quickly tried to control himself, but he began flying crazily all over the forest, flying through trees and much other stuff.

a few hours later, Sora floated in the air. with a thought, Sora flew at a speed that only grew faster and faster the more he flew. at first, he could match his thinking speed, which was at level 7 silver rank. although he could go faster if he pushed himself, that would use more and more of this solar energy, and he will have a hard time even seeing at that speed. Sora could now use his solar energy to boost his strength, unlike before when it was just his normal defense, his power shot up to level 6 silver rank thanks to how powerful solar energy was.

Sora then went on to start his vision training, he had to get the hand of these eyes, and even the sage of six paths eyes.

a few days later, Sora had mastered his eyes and could control them with a thought, even his heat vision was mastered. the power behind his heat vision at full blast could match those at even level 9 if he put all his stored energy into it. and they were almost impossible to dodge as they were moving at a speed equal to light,

with all this, Sora went on to enter his wrathful state, which was the ape transformation but in base form to see his full power. Sora guessed that even those a rank above the silver rank were not his match, just his speed alone made the world seem as it froze. he went through a whole day in just 2 minutes to the outside world. truly shocking speed.

he even gained power capable of listing mountains and destroying them. this level of power was just too scary, he was not even going all out.

but there was another thing Sora had to do: combine Solar energy and Senjutsu chakra. finding the balance between these two energies took Sora 5 days, at which point fusing it was easy.

these two-energy coming together instantly made Sora cultivation raise to level 2 iron rank. Sora felt how this new energy left his dantian as it was swallowed up by his cells, strengthening his body even more.

as his body absorbed solar energy, that energy was instantly transformed into this new energy. but the energy was then divided into 2, as it cultivated the sage of six paths cultivation art and the solar energy cultivation art, only the monkey king cultivation art was left out.

this new energy was at least 5 times stronger than before, without the need of the transformation or the sage of six paths eyes, Sora felt he could battle a half-step level 9 silver rank expert. "I don't smell a demonic aura on you or the blood. whatever you did to hide it is shocking." Sora said softly. Ling Yu sighed in relief, Sora sighed as he sat on the ground, Ling Yu sat down next to him and went on to rest her head on his leg, watching the passing clouds.

time passed and soon Sora felt something. it was a weird feeling, he felt naked, and someone was seeing all his secrets. he frowned as he resisted this feeling, he looked into the sky and used the sage of six paths to look around. he quickly saw a thin blue line that connected him to a faraway distance,

"It's divination... you seem to see it?" Ling Yu asked in shock seeing Sora narrowed eyes. Sora nodded slightly as he reached out and grabbed that thin blue line. with the sage of six paths eyes, he reversed the divination and began to look at who was looking at him

within a dark room, an old man was standing over a pot. within the pot was filled with blood which showed Sora's face, the old man's eyes widened as Sora was looking right at him.

"you're not normal." the old man said with narrowed eyes, but his face suddenly twitched as he coughed up blood, followed by the image of Sora disappearing.

"Some guy in the capital," Sora said lazily, as his palm which was covered in the fist intent slowly disappeared. Ling Yu's eyes widened, Sora just saw karma. she could see it, but she was special, karma was something that was formless and couldn't be seen even by those powerful immortals

"Your senses..." Ling Yu said softly as she looked closely at Sora, Sora's senses were too shocking, he was seeing stuff that shouldn't be possible. Sora shrugged as he laid back on the ship and went to sleep, Ling Yu thought for some time before she went back to watch the clouds. Sora calmly went on to comprehend the Dao of karma, it will be nice if he could look into people's secrets, he also will need to hide from other sights, who knew if they could find the out about the system

soon they arrived at the capital. they were told not to cause trouble here as the sect leader had heard of how Sora and Ling Yu acted within the sect. Sora and Ling Yu nodded as they went out to go find a place to eat.

Ling Yu had a look at shocked while looking at Sora, Sora's slaps were not normal, with the Dao of karma each slap hurt like hell depending now how much bad karma one has gathered.

Sora just learned the Dao of karma a few hours back, yet Sora had begun to make his own personal technique.

Sora and Ling Yu left, and Sora's actions were quickly spread across the whole capital, which in return gave Sora a huge amount of rage points. Sora even fanned flames to even have the citizens hate him, he came to this city and beat their 4th prince to a sorry state, he was looking down on them.

Sora smiled seeing the rage points reach 100,000, he went to spin it right away and calmly watched the next reward he will gain. this time he gained an armor

Sora thought and had the clothing take the form of normal clothing. (wallpaper). sora looked in the mirror and smiled seeing how his charm had improved. Sora went on to test his armor, before having the power boost brought by the armor disappear. the power boost couldn't be on all the time, it will drain his energy, and even the armor stored energy.

but it did have a passive boost in strength and defense. this defense could withstand 10% of his peak attack, and it also gave him a 25% boost in strength.

Sora took a deep breath as he felt how this armor could even improve his cultivation speed. since the armor also adapts, it will be able to defend against all forms of attacks over time, who knows maybe one day it will be able to defend against curses.

Sora would have only seen it with the sage eyes or if he was trying to see it. since he had no clue, he didn't think of trying to look. if he knew, he would have seen that a large amount of hatred that would have gone to him was shocked away by her

"I didn't notice," Sora said with a shrug. Ling Yu nodded slightly. before she and Sora began dual cultivating, they didn't have a technique but just absorbing her yin energy and her absorbing his Yang energy was good enough.
