The one and only chapter

I wake up during the night. I glance at the clock. The ticking hands show that it's barely past 3am. I sigh, knowing that I'll have to wake up again and get ready for school soon. I get ready to close my eyes again until suddenly shivers creep down my spine. I feel someone's gaze on me, boring into my soul. I turn my head and our eyes meet.

His eyes, like endless black holes of the dark abyss of gluttony bore into my soul, hungry for fear. He has a wicked smile on his face that seems to grow wider the longer I stare. Other than that his other features are rather unclear, seemingly covered by shadows, making them hard to see. Besides the few facial characteristics I can make out through the darkness, his height is also discernible even under the obscure cloaking. He seems tall, at least a few feet taller than I am.

This inability to properly make out his features gives him a mysterious air. He is attractive, at least to me who has been single for so long. "A prospective boyfriend?" I wonder.

As I was thinking about his obvious sexiness, the shadowy silhouette has drawn closer, almost close enough to reach out a hand and caress my face ever so gently. "Oh how wonderful" I think to myself. Maybe I'll finally be able to have a love such as those in children's fairytales.

"Again! Wandering off into my own daydreams! Stop it!" I mentally scold myself and try to focus on the current situation.

I snap back to reality. He has stopped his advance towards me. I think he is waiting for me to make a move.

To show my interest, I mirror his expression, grinning back at him. And then I wink. With both my eyes. At the same time. His wide smile slowly fades from his face. He stares at me in confusion, perplexed as to why my eyes sparkle with anticipation.

I slowly sit up. His mostly featureless face changes, showing surprise. He backs away and makes a move to leave through my bedroom door. I stand from my bed, my blanket falling to the ground. His eyes turn fearful. Those black holes of suffering somehow show fear. I don't understand why, so I just ignore it.

I quickly move towards him. He attempts to flee, but I kabe-don him, slamming my hand against the wall hard enough to leave a small dent. It's hard to kabe-don this mysterious being because he is at least two feet taller than me, but I knock his knees out from under him so that his eyes meet mine. Dark blood pools under his knees as they hit the ground. They might be broken. But it doesn't matter to me. It just means that now he is unable to run away.

I'm sure our love is true, yet he trembles in fear as I gaze at him. He is mindful of my every move. He will do well with my other boyfriends stored in the basement. I decide that I shall bring him there at once. Seemingly knowing my intentions, he tries to struggle away from my kabe-don. These struggles anger me.

"Why can't you see that we are meant to be!" I mentally shout at him. Obviously he can't hear me, so his attempts to escape don't cease. I realize that this shall be a problem and get the shadowy spherical shape that I assume to be his head in a chokehold. His efforts to escape greatly increase as he panics, his arms flailing. Then slowly he grows limp in my arms.

Satisfied, I grasp at his shadowy figure and drag him to the basement door. He shows no resistance so I smile and open the door, taking him down the steps, his body cracking against the stone structures. I lay him to rest next to the other 'sleeping' bodies. I walk up the basement's stone steps and close the door behind me, wondering when another one will come to rescue me from my loneliness.

This is a one shot kinda story, unless it gets popular then I’ll make more chapters :)
