Love it, disregard all the low stars. TL gives little notes around once every 20 chapters, just slightly helping you out, and gives some information on the terms used that you might not understand. Love the story, love the plot, Love that there's barely any of the "Courting Death" type phrases that ruin the story with odd meanings, if you removed all of them you'd have a basic novel with above average story, but if they did that it'd be hard to tell that it was actually a translation. I'm 245 chapters in and I feel happy rather than thinking it's a chore, the story has just enough development that it feels like it's going quick, but it has me remembering everything I read 100 chapters ago. Seeing the process is interesting, enjoying the moments in the story is fulfilling, hating some characters that were meant to be annoying and 2 sided also gives it enough humanity that you don't feel it's always going to be sunshine and rainbows. Overall great read. Take it from someone who explores qidian novels to find the greats, this has to one of them.

this is one the best novels which keep you on hook for a long time. i really like the leads and are perfecr to my taste. no harem or reverse harem and leads are absutely loyal to each other. there is no gender hypocrisy, i mean to say, author did not justify the hypocrisy. very strong fl who will face slap her enemies like hell. mystery is great and its not predictable. sweet moments between leads keep me more enchanted to read. OP leads from the beginning but reasinable.
This is an interesting book. I like the FL and ML. I also like to slap the FL's father, stepmother and sister, most specially the sister, to death hahahaha. Just have a question, will they include the scene of how Nuannuan and Chi Yang meet? Or may be an explanation of the night where Chi Yang took Nuannuan's chastity?
I honestly love the novel tho. I like how the is firm on his wants, decisions and such, he's not arrogant tho, one thing i also stan about him is his faith and loyalty towards his woman. Altho i kinda want to smack the woman for being weak, stupid, gullible but as the story goes I actually started to love her, because dem, who wouldnt like a woman with a powerful background, intelligence to adapt to any kind of professions. She's the pride tho. I love how she manipulate and deal with her enemies. The novel is not OA too hahaha. So that's it. Ladies and Gentlemen, I highly recommend this novel.
