⎯♡ Latching his watch onto his wrist, Florian takes one last look at his simple outfit. A crisp, white button-up and black slacks. Simple attire meant for the hours he will spend at work. Away from the love of his life.

"Handsome as always," she purrs sneaking up on the tall man. She snakes her arms around his figure locking eyes within the mirror.

"Love, I have to go," he turns to face the smaller being.

"Don't take too long," she hugs him once more before handing him his bag. She attempts to leave his side but is briefly pulled back for a passionate kiss.

"I will be back as soon as I can," he presses one last kiss against her forehead. He would much rather stay and wrap her in his embrace as she reads her latest book to him. With their cups of tea going cold as they lose time in the warmth they share. But alas, it will have to wait until he returns.

The two share one last glance before he heads off to the workshop. The front quietly shuts behind him as he turns to walk toward the car. Only to stand in place at the unpleasant surprise before him.

"My, my," he speaks causing the figure to turn on their heels and face him. "H/n."

The boy smiles back but something sly hides under the fake gesture. "Florian."

"I didn't know you lived so close," Florian purses his lips as he slowly strolls down the small staircase. Though he does know his address; what is he doing so far from home and why in front of his temporary home?

"Oh, just taking a walk. It's a nice day outside," H/n glances around the sunlit neighborhood.

"Well, since you're here... I have been meaning to give an apology. I didn't know it would affect you as it did." The fake apology flies from his lips as he doesn't care how much it stung the boy. He wanted it to.

"Well thank you, she was a friend of a friend who ended up in a poor situation," H/n shuffles as he shoves his hands deep within his pockets. "Anyways, don't let it bother you, and enjoy your day. It is very lovely today." H/n bids the man goodbye with a sly smile and heads down the sidewalk.

As Florian focuses on the fleeting figure, his car door left ajar goes overlooked.
