Chapter 38: Appraisal.

Ashok for the safety of Justin, Ashok sent fang into his shadow. Unfortunately if Justin gets into trouble fang is strong enough to save him.

Now as Justin was out of the way he was free to do the stuff he wanted to do.

Ashok called Arihant and asked the location of the auction house. He did not want to reveal his identity so he wore his suit and the glasses.

Ashok just went out normally, even if Justin saw him he would not be able to identify him.

A car arranged by Arihant was waiting for Ashok outside. Arihant himself didn't know what Ashok was going to put in auction.

Ashok got in the car and the driver started to drive.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Paradise island, Auction house.

The auction house was quite even though they were going to hold a huge event.

The whole building had a large auditorium like space ready for the auction.

There were still few people there like Ashok they were there to put things on auction. Many people try to take advantage of the auction and try to put fake artefacts on auction just to earn a bit of money to avoid fakes being auctioned the auction house first checks the authenticity of the artefacts.

Ashok arrived at the auction house, he told the driver to wait outside. He alone entered the auction house.

Just as he entered he was greeted by a attendant in the entrance. He asked the attendant" Miss can you help me?, I am here to put things on auction, can you tell me where should I go? " .

The attendant looked at Ashok, she saw that he was dressed very nicely, she thought that he legit had something worth putting on auction. She then took Ashok to meet an appraiser.

Ashok with the attendant entered a room, there was a person wearing a traditional clothes sitting on a chair drinking tea.

He noticed Ashok entering the room with the attendant. He tried to look into the realm of Ashok but no matter how much he tried he couldn't. To him Ashok just looked like a ordinary person.

He greeted Ashok as he came, even though Ashok is a ordinary person. He still has business opportunity so naturally he wouldn't treat Ashok wrongly.

Ashok also greeted the appraiser.

" I want to put things on the auction " said Ashok.

" That's ok but first we would like to look at the things you have as we only put artefacts in our auction, not ordinary things" replied the appraiser.

Ashok took out a small bottle from his pocket, it had red liquid in it. It was the healing potion.

The appraiser looked at the small bottle but this was a thing he had never seen.

He looked at Ashok and asked, " What is this? "

Ashok replied, " It's a healing potion, it's a low level healing potion. it can be used to heal wounds in seconds, but not fatal injuries. I also have a high healing potion which can even regrow cut of limbs"

The appraiser heard this and just treated Ashok as a fool he thought Ashok was another one of those scammers who wanted to make money.

He still maintained his calm and tried to follow the protocol, which was to check the authenticity of the item, " Sir, such a product we need to check the authenticity of the item first"

Ashok nodded " Yes you can, I have more potions, but you would have to pay for the potion which will be used"

The appraiser looked at Ashok with disdain in his eyes, now he was sure that Ashok was just a scammer, " Sir, if the potion doesn't work you would have to pay a much larger price"

Ashok just smiled and took out another bottle of healing potion. The attendant went outside and brought a knife.

The appraiser then made a small cut on his palm.

And then poured the healing potion on his cut.

As he poured a bit of potion the cut quickly got healed. The attendant looked at the cut at the appraiser's healing which was visible to naked eyes.

Even the appraiser was stunned to look at his eyes. he felt a sense of loss as such a precious liquid was wasted.

Ashok looked at the appraiser with expectations.

The appraiser panicked at this moment, he didn't know how to handle such situation. He signaled the attendant.

The attendant understood the signal ang quickly went out. The appraiser's attitude quickly changed and became very polite. He still didn't know the name of Ashok, which was a bit embarrassing.

He quickly got up and gave his seat to Ashok saying, " Sir, you are distinguished guest, please sit"

Ashok was stunned to see the surprised to see the sudden change in his treatment.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

The attendant ran to the upper floor. An old woman was sitting near the window, she was wearing similar clothes to the appraiser but her clothes were majestic and were much better than that of the appraiser.

The attendant bowed then entered. Looking at the elder she reported, " Elder we have a bit of a situation, a person came and has brought a very valuable artefact which need you for appraisal."

The old woman didn't show any fluctuations on her face. Her face didn't have any changes. She got up started walking towards the attendant and said

" Take me to him"
