I've Probably Been Living It Wrong

I open the door and meet with Lily's angry eyes looking up at my chin.

"Niisan, you were out so late. Which is very weird because you love me and will never leave me alone. Tsk, I can't imagine what you did with that doctor to be this… Nii… Niichan?"

Her anger dissolves into worldliness. If I'm in her shoe I'd be too—for someone to appear late and wet with all the reek of smell and an unconscious girl sleeping on their arm. It's something to be seen.

But as with every good imouto, the first one comes from her mouth is, "Are you okay? You're bleeding."

"I'm not hurt," I say, hoping to reassure her; and judging by her face, I fail.

Her gaze falls on Nelia, who's returning to her 'normal' form, and she immediately recalls her from their last trip to the occult clubroom.

She said nothing else but to make way for me to walk in. Halfway in the living room then I turn back and say sorry to Lily for making the floor wet with the rain and blood.
