The frown on Larkin's face could grow into a scowl the more Artie spoke earlier. His supposedly easy-going wife was starting to deviate from her first image. However, he had known her for quite a month already. It was easy to know that Artie needed something from this trip, and it was just a good opportunity for her to get it. Even if he had no idea about the goals of this wife of his, he noticed quite a pattern.
