The unexpected situation

Suddenly, Alexa's eyes moved and she saw her friend holding a shard of glass to her neck, just above her choker. A deep pierce in her neck could kill her.

That instant, Alexa's grip loosened. Seeing this, a guy rushed forward like a bolt of lightning and sent a forceful kick at Alexa's stomach. Like a plastic at the mercy of the wind, Alexa flew off and slammed her back against the edge of the platform and fell and puked blood.

"Alexa!" Nora hurried to support her. She tried to pull her up but Alexa cried out with a faint voice.

"D– don't!"

Nora panicked but didn't dare to try to lift her up anymore. With a worry-stricken face, she queried, "Do you feel pain somewhere?"

"M– my back hurts."

Candice, who had been staring with shock at everything that transpired, finally snapped out of her daze and rushed forward to support Nora.

"Ma'am, are you alright?" her voice was obviously filled with worry.
