Chapter 6 Six months later

My life has been a living hell for six months god bless Caleb, he has tired everything to stop Joshua from bullying me but nothing he does or says seems to register and he beats me even worse no one dares ask what's going on or why I come back from school with so many bruises. I need to get out of here. I need to find away to leave this hell hole for good. I need to competed year eleven and go and study at college, but how can I knowing that I have to live this life as long as I'm here. I want to get away now.

The best news I have had today is that my elder brother is coming home for the next six months on leave from the army and once he returns he will be based in a different country. He is planning to leave the army in the next five years. I just hope he doesn't see what Joshua is doing to me he'll kill him for sure.

Summer was around the corner and we were almost done with our exams, Jaxon would be here in a month let's hope Joshua could keep his fists and legs to himself, but I very much doubted it. I'd been in and out of hospital since October and my mom has started to question me about it. That's when Joshua piped up and told her the girls in our year had began harassing me again.

Mom wanted me to move schools and I wanted that more than anything right now but Joshua being the prick that he was told my mom sweetly he'd take care of me and there was no need for me to change schools. I mean what was that ass hole playing at? I wanted to move school's more than anything and he'd denied me that pleasure who the hell did he think he was? Apart from my bully, my abuser. That's right he not only bullied but abused me every chance he got he was sick in the fucking head. I felt disgusted with myself though I tried to fight him off he was bigger and stronger than me.

The day had finally come when my brother arrived, Jaxon was almost twenty five he'd been in the army since he turned sixteen he'd been stationed all over the world one been Afghanistan he'd toured their three times and had seen his friends die in front of him, he was messed up and he'd decided that this was his last tour before he retired he needed to get his shit together. My brother had anger issues due to the nightmares that came from him being a Lieutenant.

He was working his way up to commanding officer. But he'd had enough of the army life and wanted to return him and settle down. We'd barley seen him part from face time. He visited around once a year for six months before returning to his life at the barracks with his longest remaining friend a guy he called Scar I chose not to ask why they called it him, if he wanted to share that story he would. My mom and Josh's dad we're working Caleb was over and Joshua well he was off sulking somewhere. He hated my relationship with Caleb and he'd made it more than clear on several occasions he would reveal what a whore I real was to his best friend.

I opened the door and their he stood his blonde crew cut hair and in his full army camouflage get up. He smiled.

"Jaxon." I squealed jumping onto him clinging my legs around his waist.

"Nice to see you to little sis but can you please get down before we both fall flat on our faces."

We laughed and I dropped to my feet. "How are you Hope?"

"Good."

"Just good. I know it's been hard on you to adapt going to a new school and getting a new brother."

"It could be better. But, I made some new friends."

"Really?"

"Yes really come in one of them is here now."

I dragged him in whilst he was laughing he closed the door, he suddenly stopped looking at Caleb studying him. "Jaxon this is Caleb my friend and boyfriend, Caleb this is my brother Jaxon."

"It's nice to finally meet you Lieutenant, Hope has told me a lot about you." He said, holding his hand out.

Jaxon smirked, stretching his hand out shaking Caleb 'a hand. Phew. "It's good to meet you too, less with the formalities call me Jax. And I'd like to hear all about you and why my lil Sis never mentioned she had a boyfriend."

"It's not something that was easily brought up big bro, and I know your temper better than anyone."

"True."He looked at Caleb. "Let's talk."

He swallowed and they sat down.

I sat opposite watching as they played twenty questions I was glad to see Jax and Caleb getting on. The stairs creaked shit I didn't tell Jaxon Joshua was in m he and Caleb looked up. He stared at Jaxon with an unreadable expression. "And who's this?"

"Joshua."

"So I'm finally meeting my soon to be brother?"

Joshua snorted in disgust.

"I'm Jaxon. Hope's elder bother it's good to finally meet you."

"Whatever I'm off out, don't need another family reunion if the wedding isn't enough." He gritted out, before walking out the house slamming the door behind him.

"We'll rude much, what the fuck is his problem?'"

"Don't mind him he's on one of his arrogant days he's sulking again.'"

"Clearly. Are you sure mom wants this wedding as they say like father like son."

"He's nothing like Joshua he's kind sweet and loving pity his son doesn't take after him."

Once mom and Ryan returned home form work mom hugged Jaxon and told him she was glad he'd decided to come home for the wedding he told her he wouldn't miss it for the world, knowing mom was finally happy after our father left. He and Ryan got on instantly. Joshua he hadn't returned home which Ryan was pissed off about, he knew Jaxon was retuning from the army for six months and for the wedding.
