Chapter 13

Hope

For the next week I was training with my friends. After all of us were out training with the rest of the teenagers. Before the beginning of each day before the next ten fights of the tournament began I'd been put against Sawyer seen as he was the only one left out of our friend's left standing and fuck was he a tough cookie to beat. But I eventually beat him with a fly kick to the gut and face before he passed out.

I eventually came up against Scar, Dom and Bulldog and fuck were they strong and competitive. I'd never fought against bulldog before so I wasn't expecting him to be that good, but fuck was I wrong he was the fucking best and toughest he gave me ran run for the my money.

Finally I was the last standing and now I wish I wasn't. I had to come face to face with the big boss himself the Sargent Major. Iron fist. And fuck that name suited him to a T. He was as hard as fuck and built like a brick shit house.

The fight was about to start we both got on the mats bowing to reach other rand the Sensei We picked up the wooden sticks and took our stance. We both bowed to the Sensei and to each other taking out stance before we began crashing the sticks together spinning and hitting the bats together. We changed from the sticks to weapons fighting. I could understand now why he was a bully he used all the tactics Joshua had used on me from belittling to making me feel inferior to him that made something inside me snapped and wanted to work harder to kick the shit out of him.

It was soon over when I took a kick to his head, ups, he stumbled dizzily then got him back for spinning and kicking me before punching me making me loose balance and concentration. I continued through my purines and spun around kicking him in a scissor kick, He fell and the flag went up and everyone cheered.

"We'll done Hope."

"Yeah. I never thought you could beat him after that kick and punch, he delivered."

"Me neither."

"Well done angel we're all proud of you. No one has ever bet iron fist, not even us we'll done." he winked.

"I'm proud of you angel." Scar praised, at least the wasn't as cocky as Dom.

"Congrats shortie." Bulldog said, ruffling my hair.

I slapped his hand way he knew I hated that shit.

He laughed hysterically.

We all went to the cafeteria where the food was laid on tables, they had told us it was a congratulations party as well as a farewell party.

After the party come to an end. We were all exhausted especially me, these last two weeks where hectic and challenging.

A knock come to my room. "It's open."

"Are you decent?" The male voice boomed form the other side.

"Of course."

He entered. Holy shit he looked even more into intimidating in his uniform.

"Sargent major."

"Please call me Seth. I'm not your Sergeant major."

"Sorry, Seth, what can I do for you?"

"I'd like to congratulate you on your accomplishments."

"Haven't you already?"

"Not to your face. I'm really proud of you Hope, you've come along way in these past eight weeks. Fuck I never expected anyone to beat me, no one ever has."

"I'm sorry, I never meant to use that move."

"Well I'm glad you did if the others before you had thought about using it I wouldn't be as cocky. I done it for your own good Hope. I know what happened to you and I wanted you to prove that you could deal with it when you returned home, and what I saw from you today is you can. I'm proud of you."

"Thanks. I knew what you were doing, so thanks."

"That's not the only reason I came here to see you Hope. I'd like you to come back next summer to show the next bunch of scared teenagers what can come from this place, and after that I'd like to get you to join us here."

She looked at him.

"Just think about it Hope. You'd be great asset to us all here.'

"I will thanks."

He smiled and nodded leaving the room.

Well fuck me. I never saw that coming. I guess I have a lot to think about.

Fighting My Fears

Everyone was packed and ready to her home me, Sawyer, Skylar and Kyro all hugged one another saying goodbye. Jaxon was driving me home before he had to go to the barracks we all said we'd face time and do a group chat to keep in touch with one an-ther we'd al; become close over the past weeks at the camp and now it was time to say goodbye.

I walked over to Jaxon who was waiting by his jeep, he smiled as I wiped away the tears. "I'm sure you'll see them again sis. They really look up to you."

"I know I'm just going to miss them that's all."

"I know three other people that are going to miss you too.

"Who?"

He nodded and I turned around I smiled widely, "please no more tears."

They all walked up to me hugging me one bye one "I'll miss you princess. Remember to Meditate daily princess."

"I will Dom."

"I'll miss challenging you princess, it was challenging."

"So we're you Dom."

He chucked before he let go.

"I'll miss you the most honey you alway pushed yourself hard and begin all limits just keep it up."

"I will I promise."

He moved away from the bone crunching hug.

"We'll all come and visit to check up on you to make sure you're keeping up with everything we taught you.'

I nodded and smiled.

"We'll see you soon okay.'

"Okay."

"Come on sis. I have to be back to the barracks before night fall." Jaxon joked, smiling laughing.

"Sure."

"I'll see you guys back at the barracks."

"You will."

We all got into the car he honked the horn and we all waved to each other. We drove with the cd playing. "So, tell me how your feeling going home?"

"Nervous."

"You'll be fine sis just remember everything you have learnt and you'll be fine."

"But will it be? I know him Jax and he'll be waiting for me to return so he can torture me all over agian."

"This time you'll be ready Hope . I beleive in you so do Scar, Dom and Bulldog if they didn't you would still be there. You've come a long way hope don't let him destroy you you are better than that trust me. I heard iron fist went to talk to you and how impressed he was. Keep up the new you and you'll be fine trust me."

"I will.'

"And think about what he said, you've come so far Hope and I don't want you to waste it."

"I will." I said, lookig at Jaxon. "Thanks for everything Jax."

"Hey no need to thank me that's what big brother are there for."

He pulled up the car. I took my seatbelt off and hugged him "I'll miss you Jax."

"I'll miss you too."

I moved away taking my arms from round him. "Go show him the new you, the one that isn't afraid if him anymore. You can do it sis. I know you can, you've proved it time and time again at the camp. Now it's time to face your demon and show him your not afraid of him anymore."

"I will bye Jax."

"Bye Hope. I'll see you soon okay.'

"Okay."

I opened the car door getting out closing the door we waved a good bye. Scar stood smiling with my luggage I knew the reason Jaxon didn't want to come in he would probably pound his fists into Joshua if he already hadn't.

I looked at the house breathing in and out. "You can do this Hope you can show him you're not scared of him anymore.

"So are you ready for this Hope?"

"As ready as I'll ever be."

"You're strong Hope I believe in you so show him hell."

I noded.

"Come on let's get you in me and Jax need to get back to the barracks before night fall.'

"I'm sure you'll be fine with Seth still at camp."

"Wow I'm impressed first names. He'll be there alright, just cause he was still there when he left doesn't mean he won't be back at the barracks before us and I'd rather not be on the end of his wrath let's get you in."

I nodded and smiled taking one las breath before I opened the door.
