7 Chapter 7: Pass or Fail

Izuku's POV:

I woke up in recovery girl's office. As soon as I woke up I went home to wait for my letter from UA. I was nervous the entire two weeks that I had to wait. All Might wasn't responding to my texts either. Finally after all that waiting I went to go check my mail and there it was! I took it and ran to my room. I looked at it for a couple minutes before finally opening it. Out rolled a disk. I was very confused. Then it turned on and I saw All Might! (I'm not going to go through all of the details of the entrance. It's the same.) I rushed out of my room. I sat in front of my mom's shrine. "MOM! I GOT IN!! I ACTUALLY GOT INTO UA!!!" I was so ecstatic. My life seems to be looking up. I've got to go tell Kacchan!! "Mom I'm going to the park. I'm going to meet a friend there." I told her. I went to my room and changed into a pair of pants and an All Might t-shirt. I texted Kacchan to meet me at the park.

Bakugo's POV:

I just found out that I had passed. I knew I would, when the nerd texted me to meet him in the park. Oh no! Did he pass? Is he going to be in the same class as me? I had to find out as soon as possible. I had to because if he didn't make it in it would be devastating for him. Who knows what he'll do to himself if he doesn't make it! (We stan a brotherly Bakugo and you'll have to deal with it) I changed into my favorite skull tank top and some sweatpants. Then I ran to the park telling the hag on my way.

I saw the nerd sitting on the swing set and walked up as calmly as I could. "So, what did you want to meet here for?" I asked. I didn't expect him to jump into my arms and start laughing. "I did it Kacchan! I made it into UA! I'm so excited to be going there!! What class did you get into? I wonder if we'll be classmates. Are we classmates Kacchan?" At that point the nerd started mumbling. It always annoyed me. I hit his head lightly to get him to snap out of it. He looked at me and whined. "Kacchan that was mean." I scoffed. "Well nerd. I can't answer your questions if you're mumbling and not paying attention." He let out a small huff. "First of all I made it into class 1-A as expected. But whether we are classmates or not is dependent on what class you got into." He giggled. I was confused. "I suppose you're right. But you know Kacchan...." He smiled. "What's going on? Why are you smiling?" That's when it hit me. "Wait are you saying what I think you're saying?" His smile got impossibly wider. "Yup! I'm in class 1-A too!" I smiled. I was happy for some reason. I picked him up and spun him around in joy. He started laughing. "Kacchan what's gotten into you?" I smiled. "Well, I'm happy for several reasons. First, I've got my best friend back even if no one else knows. Second, we get to become heroes together. And three I don't know. I'm just happy." Izuku smiled. "You know Kacchan. I think this suits you better than anger." I laughed. "Me too. But I don't want others to see me like this. Just you okay?" He nodded. He looked like he was about to say something when his phone went off.

"Hello? Yeah. Okay see you there. Oh, can Kacchan come? Yay! Okay see you soon. Bye." he turned to me. "That was All Might. He wanted to talk to me but said you could come too. So let's go to the beach! Oh by the way. When we get there call him Toshinori, okay?" I was startled by that request. "Why?" He started rubbing his neck. "Well. Not everyone knows his true form like we do. So he wants us to call him

Toshinori." I nodded. "Alright well, let's go. We don't want to keep him waiting." Izuku nodded and we started walking.

When we got to the beach. Izuku ran waving at All Might. "Hey Toshinori!" All Might looked this way and smiled. "Hello Young Midoriya. Young Bakugo. Congratulations on making it to class 1-A. You deserve it! All of your hard work paid off. You should be proud of yourselves!" We looked at each other and smiled. "Of course! We didn't want to let you down." Izuku said. "Well that was all. I merely wished to congratulate you boys. Now go home and get some well deserved rest." We nodded. "We'll be going then!" We waved as we walked away.

The rest of the way home we talked about everything and nothing. I walked the nerd to his house but before he went inside I said. "Hey, Izuku...I'm sorry for all the shit I put you through. Just know that you don't have to fight your depression alone. I'll be with you every step of the way. Oh wait!! Nerd, I avoided bringing this up. But since your Mom is y'know gone. Who have you been staying with?" He frowned at the question. "Well, my dad came back. He's out right now but he'll be home soon. You have to go." A car turned onto the street and his eyes went wide. "Kacchan. Leave. Now. GO GO GO!!" He rushed to me and pushed me. I ran off because he told me to but I'll find out what's going on. I turned back and he was already inside and the car was pulling into the driveway.
