CHAPTER – 18 THE TEASY OFFICE STAFF

Jae POV-

After a moment of silence

Rathika – " can you call someone ?" " i mean a girl ?"

with a gap she told " urgently" in a almost invisible voice.

When I am already here why does she need someone else ? I wonder!!! (and angry at the same time )

Jae – " should I come inside ?" I asked her (i though may be she needs my help)

Rathika – "no don't !"

Jae – " what ?" ( i got annoyed )

"hey man , I asked permission from maam, saying I wanted to use washroom ! I cant call anyone"

"tell what should I do ?" (i tried explaining her that i didnt understand her at this point of time )

Rathika – "stain "

Jae – " what stain man ?"

I couldn't understand her words.

Rathika – " dress got stained, I cant come out !!!"

She said

Jae – " what stain ? wash it offf man !!!! you cant even do that by yourself ?" she didnt reply for this and after awhile she said

Rathika – " I have stomach ache, unknowing my dress got stained, I cant come outside right now"

(* oh my god she is having mensus or whatever )

I took my time before replying her (cant choose words carelessly)

Rathika – "jae ????" she called me

jae – " one min !" I said and went to the office room near by.

I took up the courage and went told

Jae – "excuse me maam !~"

Office staff – " yeah who are you?"

Jae – " maam, I am janet from 11th B Section"

Office staff – " what you want"

Jae –I went near her and whispered

"maam that is, my friend maam , she is having stomach ache maam ."

" she cant come outside maam" " she is in the washroom"

"she wants that maam". (i told the word *that * in an almost invisible tone )

Office staff – " she needs what ?" she chugged (i knew she heard me) just to tease me she asked

Jae – " maam she wants" I put my head down

I didn't know what to tell

Office staff (2)– " maam stop with the tease! It seems urgent "

Jae – "yeah maam its urgent " (i said without realizing ) and closed my mouth with hands.

Office staff – " I didn't say its not, tell me clearly what you want ?"

I put my head down once again

Jae - " maam…"

Office staff (2) – "stop teasing him maam"

She wrapped it in a paper and gave me and told me

Office staff – "keep it inside your pocket , go and give it to her"

I thanked both the staffs whole heartedly and right when I was about return, I though something and went inside again

Jae – "maam , she is having pain"

Office staff – " tell in the canteen that you have muscle pain and get a *myospaz tablet* "

Once again I thanked her wholeheartedly and went back

I went near the restroom and saw a girl passing by

I told her to pass it on to the girl In the restroom.

Once I was done with this work I ran home, since it was not far away and brought a pant of mine.

I returned back and I saw her peaking outside from the washroom, so I gave her the pant and told her to change into it . ( i tried not to look at her because i know that obviously she will be embarrassed by whatever happened today)

I went to my class saw that both our bags were packed that's when lucky came and told

Lucky –" I packed both your bags"

I just thanked her internally and took our bags and returned back to near the wash room and stood outside waiting for her.

Rathika POV –

-------2 Min later-------

I heard a bang in my toilet stall.

There was a napkin passed on to me, through the small passage bellow the toilet stall. once i was finished , I opened and saw a girl standing outside (i wondered if she was waiting for me ) she told me that some anna(older brother) told her to pass it on to me.

I thought to myself that it must be "jae" (no one else knew about it )

I tried to remove the stain from my dress but since the skirt is cream in color (uniform ) that the outline of the bloodstained marking was visible even after several washes.

I was very embarrassed to walk outside, so I choose to peak outside that's when I saw jae standing infront of the restroom (with his head down), suddenly he looked at me and turned his face the other way handing over a cover. (i dont know how he sensed my presence )

Jae – "change into this" (i didn't understand what he was telling)

I took the cover from his hand and ran inside the washroom

I opened the cover and saw a funny looking pant

(* seriously does he expect me wear this and walk around)

This damn guy brought all flowered pant ! how am I gonna match it with this school uniform ?"

But since I didn't have any other option I chose to wear it and the school bell rang.

I didn't want to go outside. One is because I didn't want to show my face to jae and one more is because the pant is looking funny on me (i dont want to get teased by my classmates)

After so much time of hesitation, I went outside wearing his pant, with my stained dress inside the cover.

He was still standing in the same location with both our bags, with his head down. (he is not someone who is this patient usually , i wonder what happened to him)

For a moment, I was really really really grateful but, the next second itself he makes me regretful when I look at his pants. (all colorful )

Slowly I went outside and stood in front of him

Jae – "hey man shall we move now?"

Rathika – " mmmh "

Jae - "okay hold on to my bag its heavy" saying this he gave me his bag. which was like a feather

without further argument i wore his bag and started walking.

I didn't want to talk anything more to him.

We left the school and on our way he told me

Jae – "ji hoo I need to buy something, can you wait for a moment ?"

I was not feeling very good standing in front of the store , so I went to a corner and started hiding myself in front of the chips packets that were hanging there.
