Astronomy

A study loved by those who loves spaces, fond of space, fascinated by space.

Austronout is well loved job in this world, many desired to be austronout, because of that, the internship is intense, getting the permanent job is even harder, many people went depressed when they were rejected, and those who got accepted jump in happiness

Nova loved space and galaxies ever since he was young, his dream career was austronout, so he study biology science, pyshical science, engineering, and of course, astronomy, but it all came to vain, his health is not that good, hes always sick, that is why, everything come to an end, even, everything he study, it lost like a memory loss.

Knowing that being depressed wont change anything good, he became normal office worker and just enjoy his life, watching the austronout from television

It all resulted in good life, but it last shorter than he thought

3 year after maintaning his good life, a violent earthquake shake the earth, many building fallen on a lot of people, roads are rolled backward, crushing cars and people in it, volcano erupted

Was it the end of the world?

He doesnt know, all he know was hes running, but unfortunately, hes trapped by the fallen building, and something hit his head, cracking his skull in process, which lead him to instadeath.

The scream of people running to safety, ground shakes, building fallen off, the smell of fire, and the crushing sound is the last thing he heard....

"Uck!" i finally hear my voice, strangely, its tone was different, while mine was supposed to be deep, this was a bit light, like a teenager on puberty?

I look around the room i was in, white silvery ceilings, cracked wall, tables that has fallen off, things i assume for chemichal stuff is shattered, and the flickering dim light

"where am i....?" i muttered to myself, still not used to the sudden change of place

Its quite normal isnt it? Just a few minutes ago, i ran away from the place that has become danger zone of doomsday, and then got trapped because of fallen debrish, and my skull cracked, leading to instadeath.

Now after hearing a funny voice, i wake up in a strange labotary room thing, that look like it just had alien invasion

Wait, alien invasion?

Thinking about that possibility, i shivered at the thought, please dear god, dont let me meet any alien, im terrified of those!

Walking around the small labotary room, searching for important clues or items, i came across an object... Or thing?

A big container, filled with dark substances, on the surface, a label sticked on it

"B... Blo... Bloodmite?"

The label "Bloodmite" sticked on it, proudly showed the name of the substances, at that exact time, a voice ringing in my head

[Mission 1- Take the Bloodmite away before other take it]

Whats with this funny voice? It also ring in my head when im "dead", and now it also tell me to take the suspicious substances? What if i got killed by it? What if it was an alien who bite the hand who feed it?

As if hearing my thought, the monotome voice ring again

[Do not worry, system will definitely protect the only [Player] System has, the bloodmite indeed is an alien, but its guaranteed to become handy for [Player] ]

Before taking it, i read a document about the "Bloodmite"

Opening it, contain small black backpack, fit enough to shove in a bottle of water and the alien container.

Placing the alien container inside my bag after checking the seal, i then went out silently

the outside is even worse than the room i stayed in, debris everywhere, blood splattered there and there, plant vase shattered and the plants show that it been stepped on numerous time.

The glass of the building shattered at some point, and the light died with the flickers sound.

[ [Player] please be careful, theres a lot of soundmites here, they can hear sound, but cannot see, system extremely recommend [Player] to be silent as possible since theres a thousands of soundmites scattered in the buildings]

..... Well crap.

I love sci-fi horror yes, but that doesnt mean i love to be in the movie!

Silently walking looking for hints, i notice that my clothes is not the one i weared before, this clothes look like the clothes the character in alien movie used in interstellar battle...

'not only i recently revived from my death, i have a literal alien on my backpack, and the building i was in are full of bloodthirsty alien that ready to eat my organ! How unlucky of me'

He instantly froze, when he heard a loud crash

An terrifying alien with a hand coming out of its mouth came out from the corner, it seem it just ate a living person.

The alien came close, but i can only stand there like a frozen statue, holding my breath while i grip my backpack tightly

The alien finally came face-to-face with me, the faint smell of blood make me sick, it seem to be sniffing me

It then sniff my backpack, and continue for 1 minutes before going away

I can feel my cold sweats on my body, i just faced my death just now, if it werent for system warning, i probaly would just scream in terror, and probaly end up becoming a snack

With heavy yet step, i walked again, i passed a few soundmite, they were busy to munch on their "snacks" that they didnt notice me

Upon seeing a door, i walked in and close it, put a few thing to help block the door before slid on the floor, panting heavily

The room i was in seem to be one of the staff room, it was quite messy, but theres no sign of alien here

I walked to the kitchen and see a... Knife? It look like knife, but it glows red, in it, a button switched to "on", and below the knife, the kitchen sink... Melted!?

I then slowly approach it and turn it off,the red glow dissapeared, and a sizzling sound can be heard slightly, i take the knife and went searching for food in the kitchen

I can only found some canned fish, two bottle of water, well its enough

I place it on another place of the backpack, the alien container in the front pocket, while the necessity in the main pocket

Then i checked the bathroom, in the mirror, i saw me, but its not the look i have before dying, rather, its my face while im in my youth.

I feel the sudden urge of joy, and i washed my face, the cold water feel very fresh to me, then i went to the bedroom, a one bed, one bedside table, with a frame picture and lamp on it

Looking at the window, what i see is a literal chaos, alien of different shape, size, and kinds all over the futuristic town, all around the town, whether it float or fly away, laying on the buildings, destroying buildings... It was utter chaos

Looking inside the bedside table, i open it and see a paper, taking it, it explain what cause the chaos

It started with the fires on the sky, then big, unindentified object on the skies, then alien invasions, yeah, the alien invasion on the movies.

[ [Player] [Nova] you got a new mission, find a self- working modification labotary connected to the exit and use the alien "Bloodmite" to ensure your survival]

Wait, wait, youre not saying that i must make an operation to merge my body with alien, with the help of self-working robot just to exit?

[Exactly, the danger outside is even more dangerous than this building, you need to merge your blood with the [Bloodmite] to ensure your safety, the system usually wont recommend this method but...]

But why? Am i that weak?

[Exactly, [Player] is so weak that you can be killed with just a single swing of an alien tail]

[ [Player] Health record said to be declining, [Player have undergo many treatment ever since you are young, the radiation outside is so excessive, that your body will not be able to hold much longer than 5 minutes, with merging [Player] blood with bloodmite, it will create a new gene and turn player into a mutant]

Mutant!? Then would it be dangerous for me if i became a mutant among the humans!?

Easier said than done, theres high change i will die in the operation, but i have no other decision

exiting the room, i began to walk to the direction system told me, of course its not easy passing the aliens, but i can do it-

A swarm of alien come, no chance if fighting it, im running away, no matter what, i dont want to die the second time!

Running with the little stamina i have, i avoid the jumping aliens and make my way throught, i see a brick and pick it on my runaway

An alien jumped on me and land a deep scratch on my left arm, i smashed the brick on its big eye, it screamed painfully, the aliens then went to... eat it? Wait, it eat its comrade?

No time thinking! I must run right now!

I continue my escape while the alien busy devouring the alien that jumped on me, the "Scratch" is so deep i can see my bones, and its painfully burning!

I see the name on top of a big iron door

"Evolutionary labotarium"

This must be it! If its not, ill just take a bit of a rest there

I open it with a lot of struggles and close it again, the labotarium unlike the other room, its clean and tidy, seems like no one entered this room when the alien invasion started

A big bed surrounded by electronic lay on front of me, and a electronic table lay beside it

[ put the alien on the table beside the bed [Player] then pick "Modification" then lay there, system will handle the rest]

I just followed what the system said, i open my backpack, taking out the black substance container and put it on the table, then the "table" move and a screen showed up

No small alien dare come close to them because of their powerfull aura, this team consist of five people

"Hmm older brother, it seem that the building we targeted has dissapeared again" said one with short pink hair

"Ah damn it, its been five month we searched for the "Evolutionary Department labotary"!" said another with red hair

"it cant be helped, the building itself is an immeasurable space singularity, it may not posed dangerous threat, it definitely give a massive help for human evolution" the guy with black haired said

"..... why is that?" said a guy with short curly black hair, he has the most soft voice out of them

"well because every operation it run, it will succeed, including modification with ss- difficulty rank such as bloodmite" another man said

"Wait, even a bloodmite!? Isnt a bloodmite the trickiest one to merge? Many become an s-rank beast since they cannot handle it" said the guy with pink hair

"Theres a record of it, the department gave its one sss-rank machinery that run on itself, giving 98% chance of success rate, the first and remarkable record of it is neonite mutant"

"after all, catching a glance of it is rare, entering it is even more rare"

The black haired man on the very front brought up a small mechanical thing "this will tell us that there is a operation undergoing, it was seven years inactive so theres---"

The mechanical then ring loudly, they gather up "A sudden operation? Then that mean..."

Im still unconcious, i know it, because im in a dee p sea of blood, no light whatsoever, then something moved, a pair of massive eyes looking at me, this is too much horror!

Before i know it, i already open my eyes with cold sweat, the white gas filled the whole bed, the glaas cover lift up, and the gas were let out

I coughed up, i can feel the difference between before and now, my body feel so light, the dim light now feel like a bright daylight, and cool thing was i can even zoom my vision like a camera

Sitting up, i look at my body, the scrawny body now changed into a more healthy fit body, my sickly pale skin has return to the skin i had when i was still healthy

I also noticed a very visible red line that resemble a vein on both of my arm, at the top of my right wrist, grow a small blood-red crystal, it "glow" like a pulse

Is it the pulse of the bloodmite?

The system really do know how to jumpscare someone...

If i close my eyes and put a little of my focus, i can see red appearances, that resemble the soundmites... One... Two... three... Five... Ten... Dang its so many here!

[Yes, Just like the name "Bloodmite", you can control blood, you can mostly control your blood, if you were to control another blood, you have to touch them, bloodmite prefered spot is neck, the vein on both arm...]

Standing up, it feel like ive been laying for years...

Taking my backpack, i fish out the water bottle

I take off the seal and drink it like, something near my heart seem to be moving, im assuming it might be the bloodmite

After i finished the water bottle, i throw it away, and open the door, bunch of soundmites run away when they look at me, as if they seen a monster

Now it feel weird, just not too long ago, it was me who run away for my life, now these aliens

I walked to the exit casually, as if im not running from a pack of alien few minutes ago, one hand holding the strap of my backpack, the door slides open on it own

When im out, the building dissapeared
