My Soul System: I Have Much Mana in the Apocalypse!

[Soul found] | Consume it will give you a certain amount of mana. [Do you want to absorb it?] [Yes] [No] Arthur White came across a screen of a system that reminded him of a video game after he had killed some assassins who were after his life and wondered, what the hell was going on? Just a few hours ago, he was on the moon, fulfilling his longed-for dream, and minutes after fulfilling it, he saw how an immense tree appeared in space and connected the dimensions. That was the moment when he died without a chance to save himself. This filled him with remorse and confusion, but he awoke again, and this time, with a mission, also with a misfortune. Once a businessman with money, now a slave with power and potential. Now, he woke up as a hunter in an apocalyptic world, with gods threatening the peace of his loved ones. In a land that is no longer as before, with a real threat looming over their heads and an apocalypse impossible to avoid, Arthur White vowed to increase his power as much as he can to prevent the death of his beloved and understand what his destiny is. Therefore, without hesitation, he pressed 'Yes'. *** English is not my native language and I am a person who is just learning the language, so you might find grammatical mistakes, I apologize for them.

Crimson hand

With the gun in his hands, Noah was trembling.

All his life he was raised with the most expensive things thanks to his father who was the leader of a very powerful gang in the city and loved him very much so he received everything he wanted, from cars to women and house he had it all he would only have to ask for it and, he would have it all at his feet.

His mother was very strict and overprotective, she also did not believe in school education so he had to study at home with a private teacher who was also afraid of his father as well as most of the maids in the house, so they treated him with too much respect and fear, the treatment was very monotonous with each of them.

Because of all this, until his 15th birthday, he had never had a normal relationship with other people.

Because of his work, his father was always busy and did not let him interact with the people in the gang, his mother was cold and very strict, and every time he went with her, he ended up being scolded in any way.

The only person he had was a maid who treated him with affection since he was a child, she fed him and played with him in secret when his mother did not see them, she was very kind and appreciated the life of every living being more than anyone else, she always took the time to talk to him about the importance of every being in the world, but in his innocence, he never paid attention to those words, "I want to be like daddy" she repeated every time, hurting his feelings.

Until one day, he woke up with the news that she had left home. Rage had taken hold of him "She has abandoned me." he thought, from then on, he insisted every day to his father to allow him to belong to her gang, he wanted to belong despite this, his father would not accept him to this day.

"The weak will not survive." He said these words, before sending him to this person who treated him badly from the first moment he saw him, he didn't like him, but what was he going to do? He had never dealt with a similar situation besides he was terrified of facing him.

And now he was here, about to shoot a man he didn't know, he didn't like how he felt, he couldn't say anything after all he wanted to put himself in this situation, "I want to be useful" he said to his father before leaving.

Now, however, he was hesitating, the words of the maid he thought he had forgotten running through his head again and again.

"Please don't kill me."

The pleas of the person in front of him didn't make it easy either.

Noah kept his eyes tightly closed and, from a distance, fired while his hand was shaking uncontrollably.

 *TSK*

The person next to him clicked his tongue in disgust, "You can't even shoot well are you even good for anything? "

Hearing his companion's complaints. Noah's eyes widened in fear.

Opening them, he sighed in relief the person he had shot was still alive, and the bullet that should have killed him was just inches from his head, it had made a hole in the wood of the destroyed furniture around him.

However, he could not escape this situation he would have to do this sooner or later, his father was right with the situation the world is going through, the weak will outlive us, and this was the key moment to stop being a weak child.

"Please, at least make it less painful."

The person in front of him stopped pleading not to be killed, instead, he asked for a more peaceful death.

This got Noah's attention.

"How would you prefer it?"

"Really? Are you going to prepare his last supper too?" his companion scoffed.

"In the head... let the bullet pass before I realize I've been shot... please?"

Noah nodded slightly, what else could he do, it would be a death that would follow him for the rest of his life, at least he would have to give him a less painful death, maybe that would lighten his load when he thought about it in the future.

He swallowed saliva and approached slowly, this time he didn't want to miss the shot so he decided to rest the gun on the subject's head if he missed again, it would only lengthen his suffering.

When he approached the man with the gun still pointed, he looked him in the face and could see a smile on the man's face.

'Huh?' At that moment, a shiver ran through his whole body, 'why would someone who was about to die smile at his executioner?' He was confused.

But before he could conclude, the man slammed his hand on the gun causing it to trigger in another direction.

As soon as he hit the gun, the man's body turned sideways, and with his stronger leg, he kicked Noah's knee, making him fall on top of him, in the middle of his fall, the same hand he hit the gun with was placed on Noah's face cushioning his fall.

'It was all a trap! I'm useless! I don't want to die! I DON'T WANT TO DIE!' In a single instant, thousands of thoughts crossed Noah's mind.

As he held Noah's face, Arthur whispered next to him in a tone he would never forget.

"Crimson hand."

Soon, his hand ignited into a beautiful crimson fire that quickly expanded to completely cover the head he held.

In just a second, there was nothing left there, the flames in Arthur's hand were extinguished, and Noah's headless body fell on top of it without spilling a drop of blood.

'It worked.' Arthur thought.

The moment that strange system came out in front of his eyes, on one side, there was a tab called Skills below it there were different skills, but each of them cost more than 1000 mana for him they were impossible to use as he had 400 mana and his maximum was 1000.

The only skill available was the last one among all of them, it was called Crimson hand. Despite not marking the amount of mana he used, the moment he saw it, he automatically knew how it worked.

It was an active ability that made his hands burn and used an amount of mana set by the user, the more mana used the stronger, the effect, and it would remain active, spending the same amount per second as long as the user kept it active.

The moment he knew this, he began to plan a situation in which his opponents would get close enough to touch them and thus end it all in one blow.

But a situation like that would be difficult to do he also didn't know how powerful the ability was, so he decided to use all his mana in an attack to ensure at least one casualty.

Seeing Noah's attitude and the way his partner treated him, he knew quickly that it was the first time he was going to kill someone and decided to take advantage of that situation, begging for his life to make the moment more difficult for him.

Although at the moment he shot, he felt fear for a moment, when he saw that he missed the shot he realized that his strategy was working without wasting time he made sure that his enemy got close enough to be able to finish him off with one blow.

Clark was still shocked by the scene that had just happened in front of his eyes.

"A-A-A-RES A de- awakened!!!" The fear could be seen in his eyes and the stutter in his voice.

As soon as he understood the situation, Clark turned around and tried to run for the exit,

However, Arthur wasn't finished. He grabbed the gun that Noah's body had dropped, leaned his body to aim better, and let out two shots, hitting one in the wall and one in Clark's right knee, making him fall, crashing into the wall dividing the dining room from the exit hallway.

"AAAHG" Clark groaned in pain. As Arthur pushed Noah's body aside and struggled to his feet.

"Wait, wait, we didn't mean to offend you, we thought no one was there, it was going to be a victimless robbery."

"You thought about hurting her." Arthur slowly approached with difficulty he had blood everywhere especially his left arm, which was hanging to the side of his body, instead his other hand was still pointing the gun in Clark's direction.

"No, no, it was just to put fear into the rookie. I swear, we weren't planning on hurting anyone."

Seeing the giant in front of him pleading for his life like this, Arthur couldn't help but think it was pitiful, a moment ago, they were about to murder him just to teach a rookie a lesson, and now he was under their feet begging to be left alive.

From a distance he aimed at his enemy's head, after all, he wasn't going to make the same mistake someone else made.

After observing Clark for a few seconds, he simply fired several times until he finished the magazine.
