This is Only the Beggining

" How does it feel, Charlie? " the guy said as he drinks his bottle.

Charlie Dion, once Rangga's accomplice in his substitute Hero team is now on the verge of becoming something worse than he is before.

"( This fruit is sickening .... )" he says as he eats the black fruit which he then swallows fully, experiencing its richness in flavor and power which increases his power.

" It's .... It's .... great !!!!!!!!!!!! " he says to himself as he can feel his body briefly changing.

" It is very great, Ardan !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! " Charlie says to Ardan, the one who recruited him as they are now affiliated with a Hunter Group (an illegal group of people who wants to Raid the Dungeon for profits ... ).

" No wonder you've become this powerful just in these few months ... " Charlie says as Ardan smiles at him.

" See ....? Ardan says to him.

" I've told you that you would be more powerful than before, cousin ... " he says.

" How does it feel to become more ... evolutionary? " Ardan asks Charlie as he sees his newfound power as he unleashes it.

" < Plasma Charge >," Charlie says as he now uses his Tier IV Powers that he acquired from the fruit.

As he uses that, he then asks Ardan how the hell did he and his group get the fruit which he was then approached by the leader.

" The fruit was artificially created, Mr. Dion ... " he says as he shows Charlie how the fruit was created as he shows him a room filled with monsters who had their blood extracted from their very vessel.

" What the ...? " Charlie asks as he wonders what is all of this.

" What is ...? "

" This is the source of the fruit, newbie Charlie ... "

" These monsters here are being extracted of their blood to serve our purpose to increase our powers ... " the group Boss says as he guides him around since he is Ardan's subordinate while he explains to him how he and Ardan first met.

" After the Siege, I helped Ardan as he was fighting some kind of a big monster or some sort that ... "

" Comes out from the portal .... " he tells Charlie as he explains the Gate Outbreak that Ardan experienced during the Siege.

While he explains it, Ardan then follows the two as he monitors how much the leader will tell his so-called cousin about that time as he remembers it.

The day when the Outbreak happened.

[ Monday, January 21, 2022 ]

" Dammit ... how the hell these monsters came here !!!!!!!!!!!!!!???? " Ardan shouts in his anger as he shoots all of the monsters with his energy blast.

As he blasts them, Ardan prepares all of his attacks to destroy every remaining monster that he found as some of the monsters then scratched him.

" Grrrhhh ... how dare you !!!!??? " Ardan says as the coming monsters scratched his face.

While he kills the monster that scratched him, suddenly he hears a big voice in the ground as it shakes, telling him that there is a big one coming.

" No way ... how ..? " Ardan says as he then sees from afar the giant monster's head.

" What is that? ... it's ... " Ardan says as he sees a black giant monster as it then looks at him and starts charging at him, attacking him by surprise as it managed to blow him away into the nearest building which wounds him badly.

" How the ...? " Ardan says to himself as he was wounded very badly as the giant monster approached him.

As he sees the black giant, he sees that there's a thing that looks like a rope in its back as it connects to the Titan that wreaks havoc in the city.

" So your some kind of a Monster-Spawn ...huh? " Ardan says as he sees the giant monster coming at him for no reason as it prepares its fist to hit him hard.

"( Dammit ....!!!! )" Ardan says as he then uses his power to create a Barrier in order to defend himself against the monster as he tries very badly to deal with it.

"( This ... monster .... )" Ardan says in his mind, as he maintains his <Energy Barrier> in order to make the monster's attacks useless.

"( Why ... does it ... attack me .....? )" Ardan asks himself as he sees the monster's very eyes as he thinks about it.

"( This monster's eyes ....?? )"

"( It looks like ?? )" Ardan says as the monster's eyes remind him of someone, a person that often defies him in every turn.

As he remembered something, from above the monster a giant rock falls down as destroyed it on the spot, making Ardan shocked as he sees his savior.

( Back to the Present.)

As the group leader explains how he meets Ardan to Charlie, he then looks at Ardan as he still remembers that very day.

"( That monster .... ?? )" Ardan still wonders.

"( Why does it ... attack me? )" he says as his mind tries to search for every answer it could get.

As he thinks, he then was called by the leader the leader told him to snap out of it as he tells both Ardan and Charlie that they've found another gate, an Epic Gate, where they will all come and strike it together.

" It seems that there will be more monsters to hunt this day ... " the leader says as he tells both of them to prepare themselves as he will assign them for this duty.

" Bring me the Epic Monsters body ... !!!!!!!!!!!!! "

" For that bodies will be a good material to create more fruits ... " the leader says to both Ardan and Charlie as both of them leaves the place to go to the Red Gate.

( Meanwhile ... )

[ Location: System Space ]

" It's been long since I find an Epic Gate ..." Rangga says while sleeping on his sofa as he was talking to one of his trusted female monsters, Illustria.

" Did something be wrong with the Ley Lines Convergence ..? " Rangga says as Illustria tells him that they have been clearing fourteen to fifteen Epic Gates as they discuss all of their future plans.

" So ... what are you going to do, my young lord? " Illustria aks Rangga as she wonders that Rangga is having inner trouble for his constant sneaky Raid up in the gates.

Hearing that advice as he thinks of something from where he the System suddenly pops up, telling Rangga that there is an Epic Dungeon nearby.

"( What the ..?? )"

"( An epic Dungeon ...? here ...? )" Rangga asks as he sees it which he was so baffled about it.

"( Should I send my monsters there in my stead ....? )" he thinks to himself as he looks at the System.
