"( What are those two doing in that place? )" Yukino says to herself as she wears her 'Neko' mask while entering the building from the rooftop.

As she comes in, she then uses her ability to detect Rangga's aura as she has already learned it from her mother but sadly, she found no inklings of his presence.

"( No way ... I can't even sense him nor Max !!!! )" Yukino says as something glows inside her pocket which is an enhancement paper that her family had as their medium to unleash their Mana ability.

As the enhancement glows, Yukino then notices that the whole building is being affected by Magic as her enhancement indicates it since it was meant for Mana Abnormality Detection.

"( I see ... the place is created with some kind of cloaking magic huh? )" Yukino says as she then picks another enhancement as she then prepares to use her ability.

"( I guess there's no wondering why I couldn't find their presence... )" Yukino says as she chants using her enchantment technique.

( In the other room.)

Rangga and Max come into a room, where they find a person with a black tuxedo and hat as he welcomes them as his guest.

" Welcome, great gentlemen ... " the man greets them.

" Welcome to the Merchant House of Black in this District .... "

" My real name is unimportant, but for your recognition, you can call me 'Black Merchant M' ... " the guy says as Rangga looks at him.

" No way .... these monsters are? " Rangga says as he notices some of the monsters.

As Rangga sees all the monsters, the Black Merchant snaps at him and tells Rangga that if he wants to buy it, then Rangga has to pay at least 1.000.000.000 Credits, ...

Hearing that, Rangga then tells the Black Merchant that he doesn't those things as he deems them for being weak and brags to the Black Merchant that he can defeat the monster by himself as he draws out his weapons.

As Rangga shows his weapon, Max then asks Rangga with his telepathy wondering what is Rangga doing right now since he thought Rangga was provoking the Black Merchant as he deems it quite a taboo while Rangga says that he wants to test his abilities into one of the monsters that he sees as he points at the <Abominus Ape> first since he thinks that is the weakest one.

" Fine then .... " the Black Merchant says while Max asks him if it's alright since he thinks that one of them (either Rangga or the monster) will be killed in the battle which the Black Merchant doesn't mind about it and offers Rangga to do the thing as he then brings Rangga to an arena where the Black Merchant then teleports the Cage with his ability as he then tells the rules.

" In this battle, the field will be closed by my Room Magic to prevent you and the monster from escaping. "

" And to all of that, the Room Magic will be lifted after one of you are dead which the killer be declared as the victor ... "

" Do you understand the rules !!!!?? " the Black Merchant asks Rangga while he looks at Max, telling him telepathically that everything will be alright as the Room Magic closes the field from outside interference while the monster cage opens itself.

"( System ... )" Rangga asks the System.

<" Yes User Rangga ...? " >

"( Can my current class, the <Trickster Class> be able to fight heavy lifting enemy such as this? )" Rangga asks it as the System says that.

<" Actually, the most recommended Class to fight these monsters is the Shielder Class, User Rangga. ">

<" Your Trickster Class, may have the access to use the Class's weapon, but the weapon mastery is only permitted to use 25% mastery of the weapon from its original class which gives you a disadvantage. ">

"( That's enough to hear ... )" Rangga says as he changes both of his daggers into a dual shield.

As he equips it, the Black Merchant was confused about what he just Rangga does as he still thinks that is his Metahuman ability which isn't as Max sees it.

" That boy's ability? " Black Merchant M asks himself.

" It looks like some sort of Magic, but I didn't sense the use of Mana while he switching his weapon ... "

" Was it a Metahuman ability ....? "

" No .... "

" A Metahuman will never do such an obnoxious ability like that !!!!??? " the Black Merchant wonders while Max whistles as he had already known the secret but lets the Merchant guesses what Rangga's abilities are as the boy himself is preparing himself to defend against the ape's attack.

As it happens, the monster receives so much damage that had been repelled back to him as he puts blood out from its mouth which led him to fall to the ground vomiting the blood as Rangga punches him with his Shield many times before he knocks him out for good.

After he did that, he then looks at the Black Merchant, telling him that if he can have the monster for himself as he defeats but the gasping Black Merchant tries to reason with Rangga that he needs to kill the monster first before doing so but Rangga refuses as he tells Max to do it as Max then brings out his gun.

" What are you brats doing!!!? " the black Merchant asks them.

" Are you going to shoot me in my place? "

" Yes .... and it will happen if you didn't let him have what is rightfully his as he is the victor of this battle .... " Max tells him.

" But he didn't kill it, he ... "

" Do you think it is wise to comment at me right now!!!??? " Max shouts.

" My partner just defeat the monster and based on the norms, the victory has the right to decide the loser's fate!!!!??? "

" Whether he decides to kill the loser or not!!!! " Max says which the Black Merchant has to agree with that explanation as he the permits Rangga to have it Rangga then summons a Water from his hand (using his sweat) to Swallow the defeated monster as the System archived it.

As the System says that, Rangga then asks the Black Merchant if he could fight another monster which the Merchant reluctantly agrees at first but then he decided to allow Rangga to do so in hopes that the next monster will kill him.

This shield is first used in the 18th Chapter: Failed Quest and now returns into this chapter as means to Rangga's battle weapon.
