A short introduction to omegaverse universe

Omegaverse is an alternate universe where humans possess animal-like secondary genders that are alpha, beta, and omega. The secondary trails started showing at the age of twelve.

Alphas: Alphas are dominant individuals, the top on the ladder, and hold a significant place in the hierarchy due to their exceptional physical strength, assertiveness, and high mental attributes, making up 5 percent of the population. They often occupy leadership roles in society. They are very protective of what's theirs and can be highly aggressive. Alphas have many things that differentiate them from the other types, ranging from physical characteristics to psychological attributes and physiology. Alpha usually has a strong musky scent. This scent can help in showing dominance as well as induce heat in omegas or arouse them.

Betas: Betas, the vast majority at 94 percent of the total population, are the ordinary individuals, the backbone of their society. Their glands produce a very weak scent,but not as heavily as alphas or omegas.

Omegas: Omegas, the rare 1 percent, were the elusive unicorns, capturing the fascination and attention of everyone around. They are always on top during reproduction because they can become pregnant regardless of their biological sex, with male omegas being an exceptionally rare occurrence at 1 in 100,000 births. A key characteristic of omegas is their heats, periods of heightened sexual arousal when their scent glands are most potent and can get pregnant. Heat serves the purpose of attracting a suitable mate for reproduction.

Pheromones: The smells that the gland produces are called pheromones. Each secondary gender, particularly alphas and omegas, possesses unique pheromones, contributing to the complexity of their social interactions. Alphas wield their pheromones as a potent tool for both dominance and arousal. Their scents, often characterized by a robust musky aroma, can assert dominance over betas and omegas. Moreover, alphas strategically use their pheromones to evoke arousal in potential mates and establish their authority within the social hierarchy. On the other hand, omegas emit pheromones that are not inherently threatening. They produce a very sweet smell, which is designed to arouse alphas and aid in the process of finding suitable mates during their heats. Whereas alpha pheromones are aggressive and dominant, omega pheromones are nonthreatening.

Mating Cycles: Omegas experience a heat cycle, during which they become fertile and seek an alpha as a mate. Alphas, in turn, undergo a rut, a heightened state of arousal that drives them to seek a mate. Alpha and Omega start their mating cycle after they turn sixteen.

Mating and Bonding: Mating often involves a complex ritual, and a bond forms between the alpha and omega. This bond is significant, representing a deep connection and often having emotional and physical effects on both parties.
