3 How to be baddass

In the ninth grade of junior high, in Class B, I endured the monotonous lessons with a bored expression, skillfully maintaining eye contact to conceal my daydreaming state.

No one suspected me because I was mad smart in every subject. Yeah, if I didn't even have good grades in junior school, I should kill myself by how easy they are.

Thus, when the bell rang, I walked slowly in the hall. When I stopped in the school toilet, I heard screams of anguish coming from the girl's toilet beside the boy's toilet.

"No, don't do this, please!" She begged loudly.

Even I heard about the bullying incident that happened outside. As much as I'm prone to avoiding trouble, I don't like witnessing someone commit violence in front of me, especially when it involves pretty girls being bullied.

I decided to intervene as I opened the toilet door sneakily, fearing they would become aware of my presence before I could gather evidence of their crime. And I didn't forget to record all of this with my phone.

When I saw three girls bullying one girl who had fallen to her knees with a cold water bucket, I showed no hesitation to record all of their crimes. Yes, because of their age, it was impossible for them to be imprisoned or punished by laws. However, it doesn't mean I can't blackmail them or humiliate them if they don't do what I say.

"Stop or I will make sure of what you did spread in the internet." I threatened.

They glared at me in anger for interrupting their time, but when they saw my phone, they snorted in disdain. Meanwhile, the fat girl approached me in an attempt to intimidate me.

It seems a fight is still unavoidable.

I sighed as I put my phone back in my pocket and picked up my shoes. I threw one of them at the fat girl's face without giving her a chance to react.

Swiftly, I moved in front of her and slammed her head to the ground, pressing my foot onto her head while staring at them menacingly.

The fat girl grunted in humiliation as my foot pressed down hard atop her.

"Is there any of you that want to suffer the same fate as her?" I asked.

"Why did you intervene?" one of them asked unwillingly.

"Can you shut up?" I glared. "Did I stutter or was I not clear enough? Scram now, or you will not like what happens."

They left unwillingly as I lifted up my foot, letting the fat girl leave along with them, not before threatening her with my eyes, signaling not to play dirty or I will not play nice.

When no one was around, I stood in front of the girl, the bullying victim, and lent her a hand gently.

"Are you okay, girl?"

"Thank you," she reached for my hand and expressed gratitude for my help.

"If they continue bothering you, take this." I handed over the recording to the girl by discarding my memory card from my phone, not before making a copy of it for safekeeping.

"You can either intimidate them by spreading it on the internet or report it to the school. If the school is unwilling to act, threaten them to make this incident bigger with the recording. They will expel those three girls without hesitation for the sake of their reputation and comply with your demand. They might even please you if it means keeping the incident secret," I suggested.

"What's your name?" She hesitated for a moment, then accepted my help and asked for my name.

"I'm Sakayanagi Genji," I introduced myself.

"Thank you, Genji. I'll keep your suggestion in mind," her smile brightened, no longer gloomy, though she was still wet, her beauty couldn't be hidden.

No wonder those three ugly girls were bullying her. Compared to those three ugly ducklings, this girl is a swan, making them feel inferior, which breeds resentment that resentment escalated into violence.

"I'm Kaurizawa Kei. My name is Kaurizawa Kei," she awkwardly introduced herself.

"Well, don't force yourself. You should go home first and have a hot drink," I suggested. Regrettably, I hadn't brought a coat to keep her warm, leaving her still cold because of the ice bucket the bullies had thrown at her.

"Yes, thank you, Genji," she thanked me once more and hurriedly left.

Did she leave in that state?

Honestly, I wanted to remind her to dry herself first, but I shrugged. Anyway, it's not my problem. Helping her get rid of the bully was already gracious enough of me. I didn't want to involve myself in other people's private lives.

With that, I left humming the 'Sociopath' song.
