2 Run Away

On the next day, I woke up early than everyone, took everything I could need, and jumped out of my window.

"Where are you going?" Julian asked from the front door, confused "I am going with you!"

"I want to be alone!" I answered before running down the street without looking back.

All the way to the forest I could scent his smell near and I only stopped when I couldn't smell him anymore.

"What am I suppose to do now? Pregnant and mateless?"

I sit down against a tree and started to caress my belly, smiling.

"Don't worry little one, you don't need..." I stopped, what was saying? He doesn't need a father? Of course, he needs. "When the time comes I will let you meet him, ok? He must hate us but he will meet you!"

I hate that I can't express myself because of the stupid bond, I like to say what I feel without my heart stop with pain, is horrible.

"I don't care that I'm an omega. You will have a good life and I will find you a father."

Right after I said that the pain in my chest was unsupportable that made me faint.

Moments later, someone started to shake my shoulders, carefully and I woke up to see a cute woman looking right into my eyes, worried.

"Hi there!" she said and I tried to protect my belly. "My name is Melissa. What is a pregnant omega doing outside alone?"

"Are you human?" I asked without moving my hands "I don't care, just... just take me out of here." I begged.

"I am an omega like you, I have a kid of my own too!" she said, smiling. she sounded like a good lady "If I am not being impolite, may I know where is your mate?"

"Don't speak about him." I screamed and then I lowered my voice "I beg you."

She helped me to get up and then asked.

"Were you forced?"

I didn't answer, I was too much ashamed of what happened, I don't remember anything from that night. Melissa started to walk and I followed her, closely.

"I see... Do you have any family?"

"A sister!" I answered, more relaxed "She is my mate's girlfriend."

She looked behind, shocked but her expression changed to pity, so I decided to change the subject.

"Do you know how to break a bound?" I asked, sad and caressing my belly. "I know is wrong, but..."

"I'm afraid I can't help you, my dear..."

"Sam!" I answered and she continued.

"My husband died not long ago."

"Oh, my godness!" I exclaimed, amazed "I'm so sorry Melissa."

She didn't answer and continued to walk, I never meet an omega so pure, it was calm and stressless.

We walked for around five minutes and we entered a small village inside the forest, some of them were in form of a wolf.

Neither of us spoke until we arrived at her house, where a strong alpha smell hit my nose and I almost lost my senses, just like with Julian.

"Who are you, kid?"

These alphas are always the same, they think that everything is theirs.

"I'm sorry?!" I asked, angry "Don't you see that I am a man already?"

One of the men next to him considered it as a threat and grabbed my arm, making me protect my belly, instinctively and the alpha stopped the man.

"May I know your age?" the alpha asked, making a gentle smile "By the way, my name is Adam. Nice to meet you."

I presented myself and everyone around stopped what they were doing to see what was going on, some of them were saying that I am a lover of the alpha. Others were saying that I was a spy.

Why is everyone looking at me like that just because I presented myself?

Alpha saw what happened and asked the guards to bring me to his mansion, but I refused.

"I don't want anyone to touch me."

"I am a gentleman!" he declared, proudly "I will never touch what isn't mine."

"Oh yeah?" I asked, ironically "So, how do you explain this?" I questioned pointing to my belly.

"The goddess is the one who gives our mates. I am sure that she knows what is better to each of us."

I started to cry because he was making sense and out of nowhere I heard Julian's voice in my head.

"It's sure that it took a lot of effort just to communicate with you, Sam!"

"Julian?" I murmured and stopped crying "How... How...?"

"I'm am truly sorry for what I did!" he said sadly.

"Your mate?" Adam asked inside my head and we both stopped talking.

I looked up to see that he was right in front of me, smiling.

"Who asked?" Julian questioned, furious. "Where the hell are you?"

I didn't know but after I rewrote the path in my head I panicked, I was in enemy land.

"From which pack are you?" he asked, serious.

"None!" I answered, scared.

Adam got more near me and ruffle my hair before smelling me.

"I think I am going to be arrested!"

"Damn, Sam. Just tell me where are you. Damn!"

"Blackmoon pack," I said with a trembling voice "Please, Julian..!"

Julian cut the link and the only thought that came to my mind was that he wasn't going to save me, after all, I am an omega.

"So... You are his mate!" Adam said and I panic. Does he know Julian?

"Is not that I wanted it!" I answered, truthfully.

Adam looked into my eyes as if it was seeing if I was lying and after making sure he backed up.

"You don't need to start anything, right? Is not that he is going to come to get me."

"Julian is really attached to his things. He is overprotective of..."

I don't know what came to my mind but I interrupted him and framed up my sister, maybe it was because of the baby, maybe selfishness.

"He is going to marry my sister in the next full moon." I said and Adam smiled again, after taking a good look at me. "That means that you are just a whore?"

I didn't answer, I didn't want to. I couldn't say that Julian was my fated mate. Not after knowing that I could start a war because of that.

"Where is he?" I heard Julian's voice outside, making me jump.

I wasn't expecting to hear him so my thought became confused.

"See? He just said that to you so that he could protect you from harm, are you that dumb?"

In the moment that he said that, I transformed into my wolf and run away through a window.

"Where do you think you are going?" Adam asked but I ignored him. "Come right back here, omega!" He ordered.

I stopped running, came back to my human form, and said.

"I can only follow..."

"From your mate!" he finished the sentence for me before I walk back inside.

What the hell just happened?"
