1 A portal within a dream within a dream

They say the you'll become a wizard at the age of 30 when... never mind.

I think that was my last thought while I was trying to sleep.

And suddenly, I know I'm inside my dream. Because I am inside my room when I'm not sleeping there. All of my stuff, even my laptop is at the living room. That's the place where I play three accounts of the same gacha game.

I have nothing to do but to lie on my bed and sleep again.

And suddenly, I find myself on the second dream, a dream inside my dream. A purple grim-dark tinge of things that would make you think about Halloween. An eerie forest. Auras of purple. But at the far end of the forest which feels so near too, well I am inside a dream anyway, I saw a bright portal.

I heard a lot of thoughts.

But one thing for sure, there was an urgency.

As if the other side needs me.

As if the world on the other side of the portal needs a Messiah.

But what can I do, I'm just a normal person.

I don't know. Dreams are like this. Giving you false sense of responsibility. Emotions and memories. But are they really like that.

As I find myself walking towards the portal, I decided.

To enter the portal.

A bright light enveloped my very being.

As I opened my eyes, I feel I'm like lying on a very soft bed. And the ceiling's design feels like I am from a royal desert castle. While spacious, a mirror on the opposite side of my bed can be seen. And guess what? I'm seeing my own reflection. Is that weird? Well. I don't know! This is not definitely my room.

And I'm seeing a popping translucent interface-screen infront of me.

I rubbed my eyes. What's wrong with this system. Honestly, I think this system only exists inside my mind but I just had to do it! I let out a deep sigh.

And the suddenly I'm hearing things.

"Hi, master Jinho Lee! I'm Sirius. The administrator of your system. It seems like it's tedious for you to read or listen to me. I can give you a status report audio-visually. It will feel like an eternity but you will know everything in a snap of a second."

"Okay, proceed."

The gist of everything was explained to me. It seems like my soul core merged with the prince, and my body from the previous universe was brought here. In fact, only the existence of the prince was overwritten with my body. And our bodies didn't merge. For some reason, Sirius is telling me that the prince's consciousness is sleeping because his mind and body are both damaged. And his body is currently inside of our merged soul core. I wonder if my system has its own hammerspace. I want my inventory.

'Sirius do you have control over my soul core?' I didn't mumble this words. Only my stream of consciousness.

"I can summon the prince body. A part of your skill makes him a puppet summon. You can also control it."

'Would it be dead or alive if it's just a puppet?'

"Its existence is debatable but there is something special about the royal blood. You will know when you try to use shared senses with the puppet, teh original body of the prince."
