Chapter 4 Habits

Waking up is really hard when you have a school day but today was not it.I woke up pretty early got ready to shower and looked into the mirror.

'I guess my face looks ok'I thought

In fact in middle school I looked like an ogre,they used to call me shrek...I'm glad I moved to a new school(no offence shrek fans)

I dressed up and went to the living room .I saw my dad cooking and asked

"what's for breakfast?"

"oh its you're favourite "dad said

"Pancakes?"I asked

"wait I thought you liked sandwiches "asked dad

"..really dad?just because I eat them everyday doesn't mean it's my favorite "I said

"oh I'm sorry I'll make em tomorrow "dad said

"it's really difficult without your mother"dad said in a voice I cannot hear

"so made any friends?dad asked

"I would say I am making progress" I said with a weak smile

"Good,ok then I'm off to work lock the house and keep it I might be coming late "dad said

"ok"I said

and he left

'oh mom I wish you were here'i thought
