Chapter 76: Kang Lei and the Lanxian’s

Kang Lei return to the room feeling rejected, "daddy did you find father?" BoJing asked jumping from his seat, he was both extremely excited and nervous to meet his new grandparents and had been practicing all night his greeting. He was expecting that the moment they had arrived to be greeted by two overly excited people making a big fuss over him, but was instead he was asked by his father to remain in this room till he returned, his father after speaking with his butler had an annoyed look on his face before leaving.

"Hmmmm, he's just on his way" Kang Lei replied trying give BoJing a vivid smile, however BoJing was too preoccupied to notice Kang Lei's disposition.

Moments later Dominic and his parents walked in with huge smiles spread across both Mr and Mrs Lanxian faces as they both rushed to greet BoJing, "Ahhh! My grand-baby is here" exclaimed Mrs Lanxian wrapping her arms around him and suffocating poor BoJing. "honey let go before you kill the poor child" Mr Lanxian said smiling then turning his attention to Kang Lei, "so you must be the person who's stolen my sons heart, I am Chao Lanxian Dominic's father but you can call me dad" he said as he embraced Kang Lei into his arms giving him a light hug, until a jealous Dominic went an pulled them apart, "dad have you been well?" Dominic awkwardly asked as the pulled Kang Lei closer to himself, leaving his dad shaking his head at his own sons actions, "oh Dominic you're so petty, you can't even let you're father give his daughter-in-law a hug tsk" Mrs Lanxian scoffed at him, "he can from a distance" mumbled Dominic making a red faced Kang Lei smile momentarily at his silly actions.

"Kang Lei sweetheart get away from him, am afraid you'll catch his petty germs, come and sit next to mom" Mrs Lanxian patted the seat next to her, but Dominic tighten his hold on kang Lei reluctant to let him be close to others part from himself, his parents immediately saw his actions and rolled their eyes at this son of theirs. "Dominic Lanxian do you think we intend to steal Kang Lei from you?" His mother gave him a sideward look, Dominic who was already annoyed fired back "yes! You've already taken BoBo now you're taking my Love, don't you two think you're being a little unfair now?".

"Oh stop being silly" an embarrassed Kang Lei scolded him releasing himself from Dominic's grip to go sit next to Mrs Lanxian, "father don't worry daddy loves you very much no one can take him from you" BoJing giggled at a sulking Dominic who now was feeling rejected because Kang Lei chose his mother over him.

"Stop acting like a spoilt brat, I just want to be close to my daughter-in-law"

"You can see him from over here why does he need to sit next to you, you're even holding his hand" a defeated Dominic sat annoyed in his chair watching his mother and father freight over Kang Lei and BoJing.

"Kang Lei sweetie, Dominic said the wedding will take place in two weeks, why don't you and I go out tomorrow and look at some suites what do you think" Mrs Lanxian asked ignoring Dominic and still holding onto Kang Lei. Before Kang Lei could answer Dominic interjected, "mother what if Kang Lei his seen with you, am sure their watching I don't want anything to ruin what we have planned."

"Oh yes! Those people have ruined everything. Okay how about you go with our butler Jeffery and we'll video call when you're there, atleast then mom can help you choose? What do you say"

"Erm, can I ask why we have to do it that way?" Kang Lei asked sadly, "that's because your husband wants to punish some people for thinking they can easily enter our family " Mrs Lanxian answered scornfully, "are you talking about the WuXain's" Kang Lei asked looking at the now stiff expressions on Mr and Mrs Lanxian faces, "yes son, now I know their your family but I need you to trust us and Dominic okay, don't worry about anything from long as you and our BoBo lay low the plan should work" Mr Lanxian answered firmly making Kang Lei a little tense, he now realised where Dominic got his cold demeanour from, "yes sir— I- i mean dad" Kang Lei replied as he looked at a still sulking Dominic giving his mother the evil eye.

"Okay enough of that, BoBo sweetie grandma has made you some lovely food should we go and eat"

"Yes! Grandma" BoJing whom had already eaten was more than happy to make his grandparents stuff him with more food.

"And Dominic stop sulking, here have your wife back, Kang Lei sweetie please go to that idiot son of mine tsk" Mrs Lanxian scoffed making everyone laugh expect for an unimpressed Dominic who quickly grabbed Kang Lei to his side his smile finally retuning to his face.

As they made their way to the dinning hall Kang Lei leaned in and whispered in Dominic's ear, "what are you planning for my sister?"

"A big surprise, she wanted a wedding so am going to give her one or not" he whispered back, with a delighted Kang Lei trying to hold his smile from forming, "mother is right you're really petty", Kang Lei pouted, "yes I am and what do you think am going to do to you for choosing my mother over me?" Dominic asked tilting his head to one side and looking maliciously at Kang Lei, "huh! Me what are you planning?" Asked a now nervous Kang Lei.

"Well let's just say you have two weeks to prepare Mrs Lanxian" Dominic whispered in his ear, sending shivers down Kang Lei's spine. Kang Lei stared stupefied at a smirking Dominic his lips inches away from his own, Kang Lei gulp both excited and scared of what the man before him will do to him on their wedding night, "are you already excited Mrs Lanxian" Dominic leaned closer to his face slowly pulling a frozen Kang Lei into his body their lips partially touching. "will you two stop flirting and come eat" Mrs Lanxian deliberately interrupted the two, she was delighted when Kang Lei stepped back denying Dominic of that kiss, a evil smirk rose on Mrs Lanxian face, "that will teach him for giving me the evil eye, next time he'll smile when I take his wife" she thought to herself as she headed back inside the room.

As Kang Lei composed himself flustered by Dominic's action he turned to head into the room when Dominic suddenly pulled him back and locked their lips together into a deep kiss, his tongue gently glided its way around Kang Lei's mouth, their lips softly embracing each other in a smooth tantalising motion, Kang Lei's mind became blank deeply engrossed in Dominic's actions following is every move, he wrapped his arms tightly around Dominic's neck gripping him closer wanting to taste more and more of him when suddenly Dominic pulled away licking his lips with a satisfied looked on his face, "let's go eat shall we" he said to a dumbfounded and fully aroused Kang Lei.
