66 Chapter 65: He looked dead

In the late hours of the night the mission to rescue Kang Lei was underway, within half of reaching the government army base successfully Infiltrated the building. Though Dominic's men were aware of him having certain abilities, they were still shocked at how he could render a person unconscious with just his pheromones. They had worried that Dominic's and Michael's plan was lacking its normal strignet planning and had questioned their leaders on whether they needed to rethink their strategy before talking action. Michael who saw their shocked faces after Dominic just took out two men within seconds and not even laid a finger on them gloated with pride, "humph— and you were all worried our plan lack substance, we don't need it when we have our own personal killing machine" a proud smile came on Michael's face, with Dominic's abilities they didn't have to kill people unnecessarily but just grounding them for a couple of hours was enough.

Dominic and his men proceeded through the building disabling those who came into their path, until they arrived at the secure base unit where they meet their undercover subordinate to Mengyao Da.

"Alpha 1 and Alpha 2, the target has been in the unit since he's arrived" he reported.

Dominic was nervous he wanted to know how Kang Lei was doing, "the omega he brought in how did he look" he asked worried, alarming the subordinate who wasn't sure how to answer, by the look of anticipation on everyone face he wasn't sure it was wise to speak another word, "solider answer me, how is the omega" Dominic asked clearly growing impatient, "he— he looked dead Alpha, when Captain Mengyao Da had brought him in he wasn't moving— I had asked him if he needed the morgue but he didn't respond" he responded cautious of Dominic's reaction, but before he knew it Dominic had flew past him heading straight to the secure unit door fiercely kicking it open setting off the security alarm.

Mengyao Da who was in the medical room with Kang Lei and the army's Female scientist, immediately became alert upon hearing the alarm. "Stay here and keep working on him I'll go check what's happening" he ordered before going out of the room securing the door.

"shit" Michael cursed seeing that he was too late to stop Dominic from alerting the whole building, they had to move fast before the remaining soldiers came flooding him to find them, "everyone fan out and proceed with plan two" he face his men and ordered, he had anticipated something like this happening and had Briefed his men of what to do if Dominic when 'Psycho'. His men nodded an dispersed as planed, Michael ran after Dominic hoping the man hadn't unintentionally killed an innocent solider in rage, after searching he couldn't locate Dominic anywhere, "shit that stupid man has gone and ruin everything..fuck!" Michael cursed deciding best to rescue their captured men as Dominic would be heading straight to find Kang Lei.

Mengyao Da however, made the deadly error of assuming Dominic and his team had arrived to finally rescue their men. He raced to the area the men were being held only be caught by the throats by an extremely enraged Dominic.

As Mengyao Da struggled to free himself he caught the colours of Dominic's eyes changed and became blood shoot red and releasing a controlled does of his pheromones, the look on his face was eerily calm as though he was holding back his true self. "I finally found you Mengyao Da" a sinister smirk came on Dominic's face as he tighten his grip around Mengyao Da neck before letting go, "but first I'll give you a chance to fight for your life" Dominic spoke releasing Mengyao Da from his hold, "puff— you think a silly like boy like you can take me on, you shouldn't have altered all the base of your arrival, you may have made it out alive with your men if you wasn't such a hot head, I'll be sure to let their families know who's to blame for their deaths" Mengyao Da scoffed.

Dominic really had no patience for this man and his long speech "shut up and fight" he glared standing casually waiting for Mengyao Da to make his move.
