Chapter 62: Marked

"What the hell happen?" Roared Cai Hung at Mengyao Da who had a smug look on his face.

"I couldn't resist his nape was just screaming at me" Mengyao Da grinned, pissing Cai Hung off even more, before Mengyao Da could react a fist came landing straight into his face breaking his nose, the force was so strong he ended up flying into the bars of the Kang Lei's cage. "you son of a bitch! Who told you that you could mark what belongs to me!" Cai Hung raged, rushing over to Mengyao Da and repeatedly kicked him in the stomach "god damn it, how the fuck am I suppose to sell him now, look at him you bastard!" Cai Hung spoke while mercilessly hitting Mengyao Da over and over again.

"(cough)—(cough), just sell him to me—(cough)...ahhh.ssss" Mengyao Da struggled to say holding his stomach, Cai Hung Scoffed "puff... you...you can't afford him... you little shit".

"You wanna bet how much.... ahhh... name your price I'll take him" Mengyao Da gloated while pushing his body off the ground then wiping the blood from his face.

"Sixty million by tomorrow morning or I'll send my dogs after you" Cai Hung Smirked, he had purposely watched as Mengyao Da lost control and bite into Kang Lei's nape marking him as his own, after checking over Kang Lei yesterday the man had become further withdrawn and the sound of his sweet cries of mercy was over.

Flashback previous day

Kang Lei layed frozen in the same stop the men had left him, his eyes glazed over and unresponsive. It was as though his Mind had finally departed from his body and his fight was gone.

Cai Hung had come in right after another set of his clients and bent down beside Kang Lei looking at the males eyes with a devious smile, "haha! Little baby looks like I have finally broken you" he said playfully slapping the face of kang Lei who remained unmoved, "oi don't play dead, your favourite guy is coming tomorrow you need to put on a performance remember or you won't seen that little bastard of yours, hay wake up, Oi little baby" Cai Hung was slightly shocked he had never seen anyone like this before, he shaked Kang Lei's body over and over again yet the man did move nor did he blink.

Cai Hung stepped out of the Kang Lei's cage and called for his doctor.

When the doctor arrived he looked at Kang Lei with pity in his eyed he knew straight away what had happen, "it looks like he's having a case of Dissociative Disorder" sated the Doctor after checking Kang Lei over thoroughly.

"What the hell is that supposed to mean" Cai Hung asked irritated.

"Well his body his here but his mind isn't— clearly whatever happened here has been too stressful and his mind was unable to cope..ma.."

"Look doc I don't give a shit, just tell me how long he's going to be like this?" Cai Hung was now getting angry, he still planned to enjoy the pain of Kang Lei before making him his own omega, but how can he do that when the man laying before him has lost all that fight he enjoyed, he was now useless.

"Well looking at his condition— I don't expect any hope of him recovering anytime soon, let him rest and eat well, by the way here's some medicine for his cuts and bruises" the doctor stated sympathetically while handing Cai Hung a small bag before bowing his head and taking his leave.

Once the doctor was gone the anger in Cai Hung was unleashed, he stormed to Kang Lei's side and pulled the mans hair aggressively hoping for a response, he got further anger when Kang Lei looked distantly at him as though he was invisible "who told you that you could be like this huh... haha I know what will wake you up how about we call our friend Mengyao Da... you're always begging like a dog when he's a round, I'll see you pretend then". He smirked letting go of Kang Lei lifeless body and storming out of the room.

End of flashback

"What you going to do with him, he's particularly a vegetable now" Cai Hung asked Mengyao Da while looking as his bruised hand.

"Am planning to take him to the base camp special unit, we have a new formula and I want to try it out on him after all he's mine now he can only do as I say" Smiled mengyao Da.

"Whatever, just get out of my sight and go get me my money"

"Fine I'll come and get him tomorrow have him ready" Mengyao da said making his way for the door, just as he was about to leave he remembered "oh that son of his where is he?"

"That's none of your concern get out" Cai Hung said while his back was to Mengyao Da and staring intently at Kang Lei.

Once Mengyao Da was gone Cai Hung went to look at Kang Lei's who's eyes were twitching erratically, he looked like he was having a seizure, Cai Hung quickly went and got the doctor all the time cursing Kang Lei, "shit, this fucking WuXain omega is more trouble than he's worth" mumbled Cai Hung.

Once again the doctor was astonished at the condition of Kang Lei, "what happened" he asked looking at Cai Hung with urgency.

"He got marked, look I have sixty million on him, enough with the questions and fix him" snarled Cai Hung.

The Doctor became fearful and started looking over Kang Lei who's body was now shaking uncontrollably and his eyes were rolling back to the back of his head, after taking a good look at Kang Lei the Doctor was finally able to diagnose his condition. "His body is rejecting the Mark, looking at his frame it's a very strong likelyhood he will not survive the week, Mr Hung you need to get him to the hospital urgently I beg you or he'll die" pleaded the doctor.

"Whether he lives or dies is no longer my concern, just clean him up, let that idiot who marked him deal with him" Cai Hung replied cruelly, he too was hurt that his favourite omega was gone and he had no one else to blame but himself. Regardless Cai Hung was bitter at Kang Lei for leaving him all those years ago, what happened today was Kang Lei's doing, if he had stayed by his side he wouldn't have to punish him to this extent.

Cai Hung took one last look at Kang Lei and smiled bitterly before walking away.
