Chapter 59: "yes"

Dominic had finally found out who the person was that the WuXain's was connected too, he was dumbfounded to learn that it was none other than the nutritious Cai Hung, a man whom is highly respected around the higher ups, especially those of the political circles.

Dominic slammed Cai Hung's confidential file on his desk clenching his fist at the thought of such man, getting a guy like Cai Hung wasn't going to be easy. Cai Hung was meticulous and well connected with hidden homes dotted around the country in unknown locations. He was also believed to be linked to the underground smuggling ring for underage omega boys, sex trafficking and black market organ donations. Dominic assumed the WuXain's had sold kang Lei to Cai Hung with him later reselling Kang Lei on the black market at profit. Cai Hung like Dominic was a well known public figure especially for his work as the head director of 'freedoms children's Home' and his continued campaigning against child cruelty and omega discrimination. Cai Hung was truly the devil in disguised and unfortunately he had many devoted and sick admires.

Dominic ran his hand through his hair frustrated, he knew Cai Hung had taken Kang Lei and BoJing what he needed to know now was were he was keeping them and he needed to find out fast, the more days that went by is the likelihood that Cai Hung would sell them again on the blackmarket, worst the government.

Today however, Dominic had a meeting with the Wuxian's to discuss the still ongoing hot topic of discussion himself and Miss MiMi WuXain, Dominic had thought that after two weeks of no response from himself or his family that the public interest in this nonsense story would have long died ago. However, the Wuxian's have played a big part in keeping its momentum going over the weeks feeding the public false hope by purposely having interviews were they would shy away from answering certian questions leaving plenty of room for speculations especially with the Lanxian's lack of input on the topic.

Today's supposed discreet meeting was also leaked to the media causing a steer. Dominic who was currently at his companies office reviewing the files for a new contract, was alerted of the medias presence at the entrance of the building.

A knock was heard on Dominic's office door and before he had time to reply Michael and Andrew both entered. "Brother, you have quite the audience awaiting you downstairs" Michael commented taking a seat next to Andrew. Dominic didnt response he instead sighed lightly then rested his head back on his chair looking towards the celling as he tapped his fingers on the desk, his face had a complicated and harden expression. "Big brother do you want us to have them escorted out the building?" Andrew asked worryingly these pass days Dominic had been sleeping less and less and it's clearly taken a toll on his body. Dominic said nothing for a short while till until suddenly his finger froze mid air as if he had thought of something, "let them stay, I'll use the front entrance today" He said getting up to leave, Andrew was puzzled "you're using the front entrance, but what about the press, you clearly hate having your picture taken, big brother what's going on, is this about Kang Lei" Andrew said confused at his brothers behavior. Without a second thought Dominic responded "yes" and left the office with both Michael and Andrew looking to each other puzzled and confused, was Dominic going to confess his love for Kang Lei in-front of all the media. "Dominic what are you planning" Michael quickly asked, "I'll tell you later right now I need to go. By the way the contracts fine proceed as we've discussed" and with that said Michael and Andrew watch the figure of Dominic disappeared around the corner.

At the entrance of the building huddled together were groups of reporters even public bystanders hoping to snap a picture of the famous Dominic Lanxian.

And today they were not disappointed, to their surprise Dominic came walking like god through the entrance hall, his hands in his pockets with each step echoing one after the other as the room stood silent watching the man make his way through the crowd, for a minute everyone was mesmerised fixated by his perfect face and the dominate aura that exuded from Dominic.

after returning to their senses a brave few pulled themselves from their trance and ran to Dominic side ready to get their story "Mr Lanxian is true you're soon to be married into the WuXain family" a male reporter asked now pointing is microphone into Dominic's face. Dominic stopped in his tracks and looked dangerously at the reporter before a soften look appeared on his face, Dominic shocked the entire entrance hall by actually giving a reply "Yes" he answered firmly yet cold.

No one else dared to ask any further questions afraid of upsetting such a powerful man, they stepped aside allowing Dominic to leave, leaving only the sounds of clicking cameras and whispering voices to be heard.

MiMi WuXain and her parents were sat along with the Lanxian watching the livestream of Dominic confirming of their relationship. Mimi was overjoyed not only was she going to be with Dominic she finally managed to get rid of Xi WuXain (Kang Lei).

Flashback two days ago.

MiMi WuXain had just ended a call with her informant and was now furious she clenched her phone in her hands tightly and swept all the items off her desk onto the floor in a fit of rage. "Xi WuXain, if it's the last thing I do I'll make sure you suffer a faith worst than death!" She screamed, her face was burning red in anger. She got her phone and immediately called Cai Hung. "Miss WuXain you've been calling quite frequently these days, how can I be of service today?" answered Cai Hung, MiMi paused after hearing the voice of Xi WuXain begging in pain for someone to stop in the background, instantly a bright smile came to her face the sound was like music to her ears. "What are you doing, I can hear Xi WuXain?" She ask very well knowing the answer.

"little baby is being punished, I have the recoding if you would like a copy and as you're family I'll give you a discount" Cai Hung Chuckled. This delighted MiMi this was just what she needed "I'll wired the funds now, make sure it's good am planning to enlighten someone" she said in a devious tone. "When has my products never been good? you insult me Miss WuXain" Cai Hung protested, "anyway as I've personally overseen the the work on this one, the quality is even more high grade, right now I have our friend from the army paying him a visit... hump.... let's just say he's got a unique touch haha" Cai Hung mockingly laughed while looking at Kang Lei's begging face on the screen.

On the next day as promised Cai Hung had emailed the video to MiMi. He face beamed with joy when she say Xi WuXain suffering in pain, she quickly forward the video to an unknown alias requesting the video be sent to Dominic Lanxian and his family. MiMi wished she was there to see their face of disgust when they saw Xi WuXain being used like a whore, she was positive this was enough to stop Dominic's further interest in her unwanted brother.
