12 Evolving

"Have you finally gone insane?"

"Please Ed! only you can help me."

"First off, get 20 metres away from me and if you want someone go get a girl, I don't swing that way!" Ed was terrified at his friend's behaviour.

"I know you are a lolic-"

"Fine I'll do it, just shut up!"

Ed ran as fast as he could to stop Rey from revealing his secret, as if we won't know ;)

"But why do you need only me?"

"Well I tried going for a prostitute..... but Sophie didn't like it, so I had to settle for you."

"Who is Sophie? I might be deaf because I don't remember you ever telling me about some Sophie!" Ed felt betrayed as Rey didn't tell him about this Sophie girl.

"Oh Sophie.... she is my system. Say hi to him. "

Soon after a system message appeared in front of Ed.

[Nice chu meech ya :)]

"The hell is this?"

"That's my system saying hi."

Poor Ed was having the shock of life one after the other without any break. Suddenly out of nowhere Rey came looking for him and told him that he needed him naked ASAP!

And after he recovered from his initial shock, a system window which was claimed to be Rey's, appeared in front of him and moreover it was speaking to him.

"Ughhhhh! I can't take it anymore." Ed fell to down on the floor of the room in which he was staying, "this all is making my head hurt. Explain from the beginning."

"I told you didn't I? I need you naked for a few hours."

Rey replied as if there was nothing wrong with his request. This morning Rey woke up with the solution to his problem- Ed.

Yesterday, Rey briefly saw Ed while walking around the town but before he could approach him, he was swarmed by a bunch of girls, asking for his number.

So this morning Rey went to the reception of his guesthouse to ask about Ed as he believed that he wouldn't be staying anywhere else and much to his anticipation, Ed was staying there.

"Why are you being like this then, even after I told you everything? "

"This goddamn idiot! That doesn't answer any of my question." Ed shouted at Rey who just repeated himself.

If left to Rey, then nothing would have been sorted because Rey was fixated on having Ed help him with his system evolution and not interested in anything else.

[Ignore him, let me explain.]

So his sys- Sophie decided to sort this by herself and sent a message to Ed.

Ed who was still recovering from his shock was shocked again on seeing the sudden message.

"Bu... but I was ex...." Rey tried to object but was silenced by his system.

[Shut up, master!]

A string of system notifications appeared in front of him and before he could make sense of it, he was on the floor, feet tied up and a gag ball in his mouth.

'This sadist system and Ed too! It is kind of kinky though!'

"Where did that gag ball come from?"

Ed was shocked because he suddenly got a message asking him to tie Rey up and he unconsciously complied but he didn't get where that gag ball suddenly came from.

[That's not important now. Shall we continue?]

"Y..... ya"

"Wh..... what?"

*10 minutes later*

"*huff* what *huff* the hell?" Ed was on all fours, gasping for breath after the experience he just had.

Sophie had selectively shown him only the things which would help him understand the situation, excluding Rey's basement visit and some other unimportant stuff.

But it seems like even that was too much for our dear best friend. Well what do you expect from a side character, Rey wouldn't even have broken a swe-

*muffled noises*

My bad, he would've probably fainted.

"Damn *huff* you author!" Ed seemed to be agitated by my remark.

[Well..... so now you know why we need you. Will you help our not?]

"Before that, why was Rey hell-bent on getting me naked? From what I understand, he could've done well even without getting my clothes off."

[I don't know. You know how master is, an idiot!]

"Master?"

Sophie was trying so hard to keep herself from saying master in front of Ed, but Rey's command forced her to speak (she likes the feel tbh).

*muffled noises*

[You should release him.]

Sophie quickly changed the topic as Ed walked towards Rey and with a slight gesture of his hand, the essence faded away and at the same time the gag ball also disappeared.

"Let's get to it, shall we?"

Rey got straight to the point after stretching his body a little.

"What am I even supposed to say after all that? Let's do it!"

Rey and Ed sat on a sofa with their hands on top of each other.

[Remember, in any case DO-NOT-REMOVE-YOUR-HANDS!]

Sophie warned both the boys one last time.

"Wait a minute." Rey spoke as he tied both of their hands with his essence so as to prevent them from slacking and falling.

"That's smart of you."

"Nah, it was easy for me!"

Sophie soon started the procedure and the previous markings which were engraved during the bonding ceremony which seemed to have disappeared, resurfaced on both of their bodies.

Starting from Ed's hand, a white light slowly started moving towards his body, illuminating the marks as it explored every engraving.

*7 hours later*

The procedure had taken longer than both of them expected and it was still not over for Rey. Though they were free to move, Sophie was not done evolving yet. Simply put, she had just copied the setup and extracting and downloading the software was still left and it will take some time.

"I'll get going now, I have work to do in the town."

"Sure, I'll be sleeping in my room until Sophie completes her evolution, come by if you need anything.

Ah! one more thing, call my mom and tell her about my stay will ya? Tell her I'll call when I get the time."

"Sure" and with this Ed left the room.

"Should I take a nap to pass the time?"

When left alone with nothing to do, Rey liked to sleep and that is what he did now as he lay on his bed staring at the ceiling waiting to sleep.

Rey I don't think that is how it works.

"Don't tell me. I know what I am doing."

10 minutes later, Rey was still staring at the ceiling when he remembered about the book he sto- borrowed from the library.

"I'll make sure to check it afterwards."

*3 hours later*

(Some classroom)

" You think, you are above us all huh? "

A group of boys with a blonde one as its leader approached another boy who was silently eating his lunch in the corner.

"...... "

" Oh! so now you think you are too good to even talk to us? " the boys could not have been more than 8 as they circled the boy.

The blonde one gestured to the boys behind him and two of them approached the boy and snatched his lunch, emptying it all on his white hair.

"Do I have to give separate instructions for the bottle too?"

The two boys like any other good lackey followed the blonde's order quickly and emptied the water bottle too on his head.

"Know your place, smartass!" the boy kicked the chair in which the boy was sitting making it fall backwards before going away.

*crash*

The boy fell down along with his chair as his head hit the floor.

He was drenched in water and the sauce which his mother gave along with the spaghetti. The tender and juicy meatball looked like polka dots on his head.

He slowly got up dusting the sauce, water and dust off of him and sat down after putting his chair back.

This had been the daily routine for the last couple of months as the boys came, emptied his lunchbox, sometimes even beating him and then left. He didn't know why they were doing all this or why they suddenly started hating him? All he knew that he had to endure this because no one would help him anymore.

(Rey's room)

Rey woke up from his sleep as he dreamt of a young boy being bullied by others.

"What was that dream and that was so random?"

Rey looked at the timer to check how much time was left and as it still showed 15 minutes, he decided to go to the cafe down by the guesthouse for some snacks.

He washed his face, styled his hair and made his way to the cafe where he ordered a coffee and some chocolate muffins to go along with the coffee.

He was sitting in a corner enjoying the view and his coffee, when he saw the hooded man he saw near the library entering the cafe. He didn't expect to see the hooded man again and much less in s cafe.

He thought that the man would've been captured by the guards due to his case accusation but seeing that he wasn't, he decided to warn him to be careful.

He was thinking of going up to him when he saw a young girl approach the man's table before he could get his ass up.

He was stunned on seeing the beauty of the girl who just appeared. Though she wore oversized clothes and a mask to hide her figure and features, her eyes which were not covered and were more beautiful than the most beautiful jade with a green hue, were enough to charm Rey.

If left up to Rey, he would've just stared at the girl until she left but thanks to his system notification telling him that the evolution was over, Rey was saved from being labelled a creep.

"Damn it! What bad timing?"

Rey was frustrated but decided to go back to his room as informing his mother took priority and my man ain't no simp.

I doubt that is the case -_-
